We are a small family owned and operated motel and marina located on Clearwater Bay just a 3 minute walk to the beach and warm gulf waters. Centrally located across from the municipal marina and within a short walk to restaurants shops and pier 60. You can relax in our heated south facing swimming pool fish from our marina or even hire a Jetski or boat to catch dinner and cook it fresh on our gas grille. Take a look at our freshly decorated rooms.We are the only motel on Clearwater Beach to be included in Frommers Florida 2010 travel guide.Quote page 439- Barefoot Bay offers clean comfortable apartment like accommodations at great prices. But the best part about the place besides its location is its backyard pool deck it is actually like hanging out at a friends house than a motel. Even better the beach is just across the street

“Clear water motel”
Overall, the motel was nice, fairly clean, and the staff was nice and helpful. However, the last night of our stay, we did find a rather large coachroach in the shower. It was coming in and out of the drain until we killed it. Not sure, how this happened as we had not noticed anything like this until that last night. The motel has a nice sunning area and a small but well kept pool. Despite the bug we encountered, I will probably stay here again in the future as it was within walking distance to the beach, many restaurants, and we really enjoyed ourselves.
