Good but needs update.Posted Mar 15, 2015
Pros: The location and room rate.
Cons: The rooms could be improved.
Location: The location is great away from things.
We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. It is a nice place and a great location away from the traffic. We had a great view of the bay which we enjoyed everyday. The rooms need a little more updating. The beds are okay and need to be replaced and the carpet as well. Everyday the room felt humid and a little sticky, not sure why. But overall a great place to stay in clearwater.

Spacious suites near beach!Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Spacious, hospitable, walking distance to shops and bars.
Location: Multiple bars/restaurants, shops, putt-putt, beach.
Many restaurants and bars within walking distance from hotel (about 1 mile). The room was amazing. I stayed in their suite style rooms. We walked in to a kitchen (2 stove top, microwave, coffee, refrigerator/freezer) that opens to a living room and dining room (very spacious!). We had a great view on the channel side with a large balcony. Off to the side of the living room is a big bathroom and another room with 2 queens. We couldn't believe how much space we had. If I stay in Clearwater Beach again, it will be at this resort. Probably the same room (205).

Nice hotel and convenient to things in the areaPosted Mar 4, 2015
Pros: I liked the staff very much, they were very helpful in directing me to the things I needed and wanted to see.
Cons: Maybe have the front desk open earlier in the morning, when I had to checkout. Also a place to get and print boarding passes for flights
Location: As mentioned above, there were several things to do in walking distance of the hotel, and being a photographer, it was a great area for photography
It was a very nice and clean hotel, which is close to many things in the area. I liked being able to go the the docks area by the hotel, which is part of the boating club next door. There were some good restaurants close by and the nice lady at the desk made a great recommendation to one within walking distance. You could walk to the beach from there and enjoy the beautiful views.

Spacious, clean rooms and good price. Staffing limited to workday hours and few extra amenities but nice quiet location only minutes from the beach.

Clearwater ist eine nette Lokation für jeden.Posted Dec 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
Ruhig in einer Nebenstraße gelegen. Super Blick auf einen kleinen Hafen. Leider haben wir keine Manatees gesehen. Der Balkon ist für Sonne in Florida Klasse, da er immer im Schatten ist.

The charthouse hotel clearwater beachPosted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: The rooms need a good makeover and the wifi working
Location: Very good location with plenty activities if the weather is good. Unfortunately we had very cold weather in the 50's which limited what we could do.
The charthouse hotel was in a nice location but the hotel itself was very basic we thought - no internet in our room as was promised so had to go to the lobby which was very small to use the Internet.

Nice quiet harbor hotelPosted Nov 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is a nice hotel that could use a few updates. It was clean, safe and in a nice quiet location on the harbor away from the hustle and bustle of the streets. Within easy walking distance of a few nice restaurants. What a lovely view from the patio!

Pretty goodPosted Nov 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
Nice place. Slightly away from the main resort. Some cutlery, crockery would have been nice

A great resort in a great beach town!Posted Nov 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
You never really know what you're going to get when you book online. Well, I couldn't have been more pleased. I was greeted cordially at the check-in desk, and as everything had been taken care of through Hotels.com, I was able to check right into my room. The rooms are huge. I had a suite that consisted of a kitchenette, a spacious living room with a sofa bed, a dining area, a bedroom with two queen size beds, a large bathroom, and a balcony overlooking Clearwater Bay. It was ideal for the trip, as everyone was able to get a little space and relax. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchenette was appointed with all sorts of dishes and flatware, even a corkscrew and wine glasses! The hotel is in an ideal location, off the main road so you don't have insane traffic, but still only about 3 minutes to the beach. There are a lot of restaurants in the area, from very inexpensive to pretty nice. The only real knock against the hotel might be that the pool is too small, but there's a beautiful white sand beach and the Gulf of Mexico about half a mile away, so I don't think that's really an issue. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends, and I would stay there again if I was back in Clearwater Beach!
