CHARMING

Posted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: Size of room
Cons: Not a thing
Location: It's on the water. If you have a boat there are slips. It's not in the heart of the Clearwater Beach traffic, but easily accessible to that area.
We loved this charmingly cute little hotel. We loved the suite style room. We were on our honeymoon and wanted something that was more than just a hotel room. This room had a large livingroom and mini kitchen. Refrig was FULL size. This was a great place to come back to relax before heading out to next adventure. Rooms are modern, cute little pool and faces the bay. Perfect price. We will plan to come back to this charming place. It does not offer the services of big hotel, but enough to make it wonderful.

Overall stay

Posted Sep 22, 2014
The room we stayed in had a slight odor when we first walked in. Had to spray some air freshner around the room. After that it was fine. Was a little dated but it was pretty decent and the balcony view was wonderful. Is in need of an upgrade though.

Nice quite hotel, close to the beach.

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: The location and the harbor view.
Cons: The condition of hotel, it does show its age, however it is clean.
Location: Its in a residental area, near Clearwater Beach and Sand Key Park. There is tons of things to do: fishing, sightseeingon tour boats, party boat tours.
Great harbor view, friendly staff. Very quite and within walking distance to the beach, fishing boats and party boat tours. We would stay there again. I don't have a boat, but they also have boat slips to rent along with your hotel room.

Nice hotel on water front & close to beach

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: Clean rooms, the water front location, and helpful staff. Quiet neighborhood.
Cons: WiFi connection on third floor. We got it fine on the first floor.
Location: Pier 60 a very popular beach by the gulf is about a mile away. Several cruises of various kinds and jet skies are available next to Pier 60.
My wife and I stayed there for three nights. We had a water front room on the third floor. We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The front desk was very helpful always though one of them sounds tough.

Pros: The beds were very comfortable. The pool was small but lovely.
Cons: The hallways were stuffy and stale. The hide-a-bed was terribly uncomfortable and should not be considered as a "bed" suitable for adults.
A disappointing experience. We arrived at 7:20 p.m. and the front desk was already closed. Instructions were left on a bulletin board and our key was placed in a coded lock box that didn't work well. It wouldn't open and so we couldn't get the key to our room. We asked other hotel guests to help us and make sure we were following the instructions correctly. They couldn't get it open either. Called the number listed for help and the security/grounds man showed up shortly thereafter. He too was unable to open the box and so gave us an extra key from their storage closet. We understand that "things" like this sometimes happen. What was unfortunate was the desk ladies attitude the next morning. Despite our having to change our clothes in the hall (while waiting for help) and then arriving late for our dinner reservation, all she could insist upon was how she was able to open the box the next morning without any problem at all. She was just very rude and unsympathetic. The problem seems to have been all ours. After our unfortunate arrival and later than expected evening, I also asked in the morning if we could stay in our room one hour longer. Again, no "I'm sorry" or anything like that. Just a straight "No. We have to prepare the room for other guests." Too bad. An extra hour didn't seem like such a big request - especially after having been delayed the night before. Still, what bothered us most, was this lady's short and ugly manner.

Hotel close to the beach

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Close to the beach.
Cons: Disinfect the stairwells and replace the hallway carpet.
Location: Great beach, dining, and shopping.
All in all, it was an ok hotel. The mini-frigde in the room was leaking water onto the carpet. Could not sit on the balcony, as the guests in the next room would sit out there and smoke cigarettes non-stop. The hallways and stairwells had a foul smell that was overpowering. Pool had waterline tile missing.

Nice hotel, far from beach

Posted Jul 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
I thought the hotel was nice with it being right on the harbor. We were upgraded to the harbor view because there were no-view rooms left which was nice to see each morning. The room was fine for the four of us. The bathroom was a little small but it was manageable. The only faults I have with the hotel is it is as the end of strip so you have to drive to get to the beach which was a hassle. There wasn't really anywhere close to eat so you had to drive which only took 5 minutes at the most but you have to pay for parking by the beach. The pool is smaller than what you think from the pictures but it was nice. All in all, the hotel was nice and we would stay there again as long as we get a room looking over the harbor.
