Super Preis für diese Lage.

Posted Jul 27, 2015

Nice hotel within a short walk of the beach

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: Nice pool, spacious room.
Cons: Door key issues, older building could be fixed up a bit.
Older hotel but everything was clean and nice. Our room key would not work multiple times several days, which was extremely annoying, especially with two young kids. Hotel staff kept blaming us for putting the key next to our phones, which we didn't even take to the beach with us, until several new keys they made still would not work. The way they blew this off repeatedly was quite annoying.

Great hotel for the price

Posted Jul 16, 2015
Pros: Great location, very friendly staff (even printed out directions to the mall), ample amount of parking for the hotel, and great view of the sunrise.
Cons: Cleaning schedule was at odd times, but other than that, i was satisfied.
Location: Very family orientated place, patrolled by many police officers, fantastic local food, not too far away from large shopping malls or downtown nightlife
Hotel was in a great location, which is across the street from the beach. Also, it was right at the bend, which meant it wasn't a far walk from either side of most restaurants or attractions.

Ok place

Posted Jul 14, 2015
It was an ok place for the money, but was not as clean as I would have liked. The floors were very dirty and I wouldn't allow my kids to walk barefoot. The only reason we stayed here was because the place we stayed at (royal north beach, which was a great place) the night prior was already booked and we wanted to stay in the area another night and we were on a budget. If you're in a pinch, on a budget, and just need a roof over your head, stay here.

Pros: Excellent location!
Cons: Street side very noisy, since doors and walls are too thin.
Location! Location! Location within a 5 min. walk to the beach.

Would go back again!!

Posted Jul 10, 2015
Pros: Good price, great shape over all.
Cons: na
Location: Many things very close by within walking distance. We did not use the car at all.
I am not a picky person, 39 yrs old. If it has A/C, clean, no bugs, and a bed, I am good. Stayed for 2 nights in 110, 4 adults, staff was great. House keeper, went across street to get us more pillows, clerks did not have a problem with our friends visiting- parking in the parking lot. (It was not the weekend either). A/C was great, yes construction was going on, but it was not into late hours of evening, they stopped between 4-6 p.m.,so it was not a big deal. Within walking distance of many shops, gas station, and places to eat. Went to Shepard's and enjoyed their night life and entertainment. Would go back to Clearwater Beach Hotel, with my children!!!

hotel is more like a motel.

Posted Jul 10, 2015
I had a room at the oldest part of the hotel, first floor, noisy, small. Safe was broken, had to leave valuables at the front desk to be placed in a safe box. Had to call 3 times to have the bathroom electrical wall switch reset, otherwise, could not plug mini fridge and coffee maker. Coffee in reception area was cold every morning. Had to go upstairs for ice. There are 2 buildings - one across the street closer to the water which had better rooms. Make sure to ask where they are putting you when making reservations . Front desk staff Martin , maintenance man, and janitorial ladies were very helpful. Others not so much.

Major Construction going on!

Posted Jul 10, 2015
Pros: The Staff was ok and the rooms were clean
Cons: Nothing they can do, its a well run Hotel
Location: pier 60, excellent beach, stores are close.
They are building such a large hotel in front of this one that the noise is ridiculous. Not only directly across the street but down the block, they are building such a goliath hotel that there is no longer a waterfront view and ya cant see the Sunsets anymore. Its definitely not Clearwater Beach Hotels fault, but if I had known, I never would have stayed there and I think they should at least mention the Construction going on to people. Chances are, they aren't going to be around much longer anyways since there isn't a view anymore, probably the Hotel will eventually be converted to condos as there is little else to do with that property.
