Great for the purpose

Location was perfect for our purpose, football bowl game. Not enough outlets to charge devices for 3 people however.

good stay

Posted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: The hotel room was clean and it has the amenities we need.
Cons: The fruits available for breakfast. The bananas that were there were too ripe and they were the only fruits available.
Location: There were a lot of restaurants close by. It is also close to Tropicana Field
We only stayed 1 night after going to the Tropicana Field for a football game. It was an overall good experience. No problems encountered.

Bugs all over the room, water pressure awful, luggage carts broken.

We were there on a date night getaway. There were no outstanding restaurants around and the bathroom had been cleaned with Ajax and there was a horrible film every where. After re cleaning the bathroom it was ok. The bed was very comfortable but it is not a hotel I would choose for a multi night stay.

Could Have Been Beter

Posted Oct 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
There was a mix up with the two rooms reserved, but just switched the rooms. This seems to have been either a place for strange activites, but new management is putting forth the effort to upgrade the place. I'm guessing in time more money will be spent on renovating the rooms.

All was good until a condom wrapper that was under the bed was extracted from it's hiding place on the bottom of my 5 year old grandsons shoe. Hence the lower marks on cleanliness. The chairs in the room were not comfortable, but we weren't there for long any way.

A little expensive for the accomodations

Posted Sep 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
The light over the sink in the bathroom was out as was the main floor lamp. The room was not very clean with stains on the chair and ottoman and a musty smell to the room. The towels had stains on them as well, hard to use when they don't look clean. It is a older hotel, but if your just staying a quick night, not bad, there are a number of food locations nearby. The cost was a little steep for the quality of the room.

Good place and easy to get to Tropicana Field

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: Room and breakfast.
Cons: get new luggage carts.
Location: Tropicana Field
Other than a bunch of kids carrying on until 3am, it's a good hotel.

The Hotel location to the event we were going which was the Devil Rays-Yankees game was good. The cleanliness of the room was poor though. There were bugs observed in the room and elevator.
