“Easy to Navigate”

The location of this hotel was great for going to the beach as well as heading toward my Aunt's home. The hotel personnel were great. Only complaint, the bed by the outside wall, leaves no room to climb in on that side. Breakfast room is small but was kept clean and well stocked.

“Very nice staff, very helpful. Would recommend to others.”

Staff help me with directions. Easy access to a paved walking trail, can rent bicycle at hotel, easy access to very nice restaurants. Will return if in the area.

“Good location for us.”

It was located on the Intercoastal waterway, next to Dunedin, Florida, very close to where our grandchildren live, so it was especially good for us. On a scale of 1 to 5, it was easily a 4, and the rates were reasonable. It was a very nice experience.

“Comfort Suites_Clearwater,FL”

Made reservations to stay here because we were visiting the Clearwater Marine Aquarium where Dolphin Tale was filmed and made into a movie. Great hotel and Breakfast and would stay here again if the need arose.

“Could of been better.”

Let me start of by saying it was a great breakfast, clean and comfy room......however, the night manager.....whew. She was nosy, rude, inconsiderate and lazy. She made our stay uncomfortable. I couldn't believe her comments toward me and my children. We paid good money the least she could do was be half way nice. The hotel wasn't bad. The service was.

This area is near the water and about 10 min from the beach. Its almost a little strange though, because the hotel just comes out of nowhere.

“Best hotel I got at this price, spotless, and felt like a luxury hotel type,”

it even had granite sink in the bathroom which gave it extra special luxury feel that you would only expect at hotels that are almost double the cost, very comfortable and clean new white sheet beds, spotless and very nice throughout hotel you should have seen the nasty flea hotel I stayed at the night before at even higher price, yes this is very nice hotel, I wish all the hotels I stay at when I travel are this nice, location wasnt in town center or beach but still the best hotel I stayed at while I was in florida travelling

Area recommendations

clearwater beach is not as nice as siesta beach by sarasota area and gets quite crowded, but perhaps one of the hotels on the clearwater beach itself with a more private beach would offer nice alternative

“Worst Hotel To Stay.”

I would never stay in this Comfort Inn, I stay there two nights. On my last night someone vandalize my car. They stole my radio, my speakerbox, amplifier. The stuff did not help me at all. All they could tell me it never happens in their hotel. I would never stay there again.

“Good selection of hotel!”

Comfort Suites in Clearwater Bay offered us good amenities at a very reasonable price. Although we traveled along with our eldest son who is already a young adult, we were very surprised to find our hotel with comfortable queen size beds in a well decorated non-smoking room. Our room was spacious enough even to accommodate a fourth passenger by the use of a sleeping sofa adjacent to our bedroom. Probably, the most significant plus of Comfort Suites at Clearwater Bay was its beautiful location just a few miles away from downtown Clearwater. Thus, we had no problems accessing into the main road which was not as busy as major access roads into that beautiful city. The pool was very small even for a kid's vantage point , but,parking space was abundant and the staff was very cordial. In all, our family would definitely go back to that hotel in a near future.

No major recommendations. Although we were greatly surprised with the good quality of fine cuisine offered by many restaurants in Clearwater Beach that we really enjoyed! Having a vehicle (owned or rental) is a must.

“Good value”

Overall is a good value for your dollar. We crushed in late, few minutes short of midnight, but Front Desk Clerk (Finn) was alert, very courteous and helpful. Room was clean and neat, but could use basic touch up. Everything worked as expected. Basic breakfast, but handy timesaver.
