Not as nice as the pictures...but few are.Posted Nov 11, 2013
The front desk guy was a little rude, but I guess that is fairly common.

Pros: Rooom set-up
Cons: can not think of anything
Location: Saint Petersburg what more can I say
Rented a Jr. Suite. My husband is in the end stage of COPD. Sleeps a lot. Needed a room where the desk is not in the same area as the bed. I have to be quiet and work on my computer or Kindle Fire while he sleeps. Hotel staff was wonderful. Sarah at front desk was outstanding as was John with his helpdul directions. Sara OK'd our late check-out which allowed my husband to sleep until he woke up, not being woken up to get dressed and rushed out of the hotel by 11:00. (that made his whole day better) Friend from St. Petes stopped by in the AM to go over paper work. We sat in the dining area until after closing. Asked if it was OK we stayed there. No problem. Staff did not rush us. When employee was cleaning up she even asked us if we wanted more of the type of coffee we were drinking before she removed it. Felt like home,

Location: Semi industrial but lots of retail shopping nearby. Nextdoor to antique mall. 15 minutes from downtown, the arts district and Tropicana Field.
On a trip to visit a friend we were looking for an affordable hotel near where they lived. We found this hotel at a very affordable rate and didn't expect a lot of frills. To our surprise we were greated with a large room with a pillow top bed and feather comforter. The bathroom had a large cherry wood vanity with a granite top. The tub/shower had a graniite surround. Besides a good sized flatscreen tv there was a microwave and a small refridgerator tastefully hidden in another cherry wood cabinet/dresser. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. A self serve hot breakfast is served in the morning.During an unexpected heavy downpour one afternoon, the desk clerk let me borrow her personal umbrella so I could get to my car without getting soaked.

Reasonably Priced & nice comfort for the periodicPosted Aug 15, 2013
I travel so very little but staying here for me was quite nice. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. (no attitudes) The room was clean despite a few coin size spots on the carpet. It really wasn't a distraction for me but maybe for others, unacceptable. The room had no odors and even had an in room fridge. My ONLY suggestion would be the complimentary breakfast room have more tables. The 6-9 tables is not enough for morning breakfast.

impact that staff hasPosted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Beware of double billing if you have previously paid online. I was shocked to receive a bill under my door when my reservation had been fully paid. The attendant barely apologized for the error. Mistakes are made worse when the staff handle them poorly or show blatant carelessness.

Cons: Don't know if noise problem could have been rectified
Location: It was a good location for the swim meet we were attending that was north Shore pool
Not sure if anything could be done about noise level but some of the guest on our floor were quiet noisy into the early hours of the morning. On the other hand, the night receptionist was very helpful with some things we needed that we had forgotten to pack for trip. Also, the lady who set up breakfast was very kind in letting us eat early as she was still setting things set up around 6:30 AM(this is prior to breakfast start time on the weekend).
