“Nice place to stay.”

Even though it's not right on the beach, it's a great place to stay and very resonable. Also had 2 big screen TVs, so there was no arguement on what to watch.

“Would go back in a heartbeat!”

This place is only 3 years old and is absolutely beautiful. It is a condo with a full kitchen and very spacious bedroom and living area. The place was cleaner than any hotel I've ever stayed in. We stayed on the 5th floor which gave an awesome view of the ocean from our balcony. The only downside would be the traffic noise. But you can't beat the location or the quality of the room. We will definitely be back!

“Very happy with this hotel.”

This was our first visit to this hotel and we were very satisfied. It is an all suite hotel and our suite was as large as many apartments! It had a full kitchen, 1 and a half baths, living-dining area, large bedroom with large walk in shower in adjoining bathroom. The hotel is not on the beach but is across the street, just a short walk away. We had a large balcony and could see the beach when sitting there in the mornings drinking coffee. Never used public transportation since we rented a car but there were stops very close. Only downside was the internet, very slow and unreliable connection. Internet was free and so was parking. Price was very reasonable for the quality of the hotel.

Area recommendations

We flew into the Clearwater/St. Petersburg airport but stayed in Treasure Island. Liked the area and have stayed there once before. Would probably choose the same area again.

“Don't fix it with duct tape.”

Upon entering our room at the Crystal Palms resort, we were initially impressed. It was very spacious and extremely clean. The fully stocked kitchen offered all the comforts of home - just add food. After we had been there a day, we noticed that the shades in our master bedroom were broken. This had to be obvious to the staff because part of the bracket was laying on the floor beside the patio door. Later that day I went into our children's bathroom to get something and the towel bar fell off the wall. The door knob to master bedroom also kept falling off. None of these things ruined our trip and I will probably stay here again; however, a resort of this caliber should pay closer attention to the details. I brought these issues to the staff and they promptly sent a maintenance person to fix them. I just believe in fixing things right the first time. It was annoying.

“Perfect for families! Walk everywhere”

I do not think i should call this a hotel but rather a 2 bedroom condo! We stayed in a room overlooking the pool and we could see the ocean from our balcony! I met my sister and best friend and we had two babies so being close to the beach and within walking distance of restaurants was key for finding a hotel! The staff and service at the hotel were very accommodating and even getting us in several hours before check-in! Stay here if you are looking for a beach getaway w the amenties of your own home-full kitchen, washer/dryer, two full bathrooms and bedrooms! Walk to sloppy joes for a tasty meal and beverage!

“Outstanding Hotel. Great Location. Super value.”

This was one of the nicest Hotels I have stayed in during many years of traveling. It felt luxurious. From the wonderful view to the top notch appliances and furniture. I was proud to have my Florida family visit me at "my place". I will return.
