Not what expected

Posted May 11, 2015
Not what expected, looked a little old. Area looked a little sketchy. Was given our Keys went to the room opened the door and room was obviously occupied. A purse , tablet shoes ect... thank goodness I'm a decent person I immediately left the room. I was given another room but Needless to say I was worried abut leaving my belongings in my room. Wish I could have gotten a refund and move to another hotel. There were also a lot of Nats in out room. THE PROS OF IT ALL WAS FRONT DESK WERE EXTREMLY NICE :)

Decent Place

Posted Apr 20, 2015
This was a pretty decent room. Our was clean & spacious. Check-in was quick & easy. There was some event going on in their banquet room, so music was blaring and lots of people & kids in the lobby. At first we weren't sure we were at the right place. But it was a decent night's stay for the price.

Convenient to shopping areas

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Hubby and I had a late check in. We checked in at 6pm and our rooms still weren't ready. We waited for 30 minutes in the lobby for our room. The next next day we asked for towels from 10am in the morning we didn't receive towels not until 6pm that evening. The condition of the hotel needs alot of maintenance. Otherwise to that you get what you pay for.

Day's Inn at St. Petersburg

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: The beds were very comfortable
Cons: The price was too high for the value of the accommodations. The staff was not very friendly or helpful.
Location: no idea, the neighborhood did not look very appealing or welcoming
I went to visit a family member in the hospital and needed a place to spend the night. The hotel was clean as well as the room. The beds were comfortable. I didn't use any of the facilities. But the price was too high, I don't think the area that it's in merits such a high price. I picked this hotel because it offered breakfast and because I'm familiar with the Day's Inn chain. The staff was not very helpful when I checked in (they were having printer issues) so I was not told the time for breakfast or the wireless information. So I was not able to connect to the internet and also missed breakfast. I was surprise to hear breakfast on a Sunday morning ended at 9am.
