Kurzaufenthalt in Clearwater

Pros: Wir hatten neu renovierte Zimmer, sehr sauber! Frühstücksbuffet war inklusive und guter Standard.
Cons: Whirlpool war leider am Anreisetag Abends zunächst gesperrt, das Rezeptionspersonal wusste nicht warum, Wurde dann aber in Ordnung gebracht.
Während unserer Florida-Rundreise mit Stationen u.a. in Key Largo, Miami, Ft. Myers und Orlando waren wir auch 2 Tage in Clearwater um insbesondere die Stände zu besuchen (Clearwater Beach Pier 60, John´s Pass Madeira Beach). Das Hotel liegt etwa 30 Minuten vom Pier weg, ist aber einfach zu erreichen. Leider war auch eine Jugendgruppe untergebracht, was insbesondere in der 2. Nacht zu erheblichem Ärger geführt hat. Das Sicherheitspersonal musste eingreifen, leider ohne Erfolg. Wir mussten persönlich nachts mit der Jugendgruppenleitung sprechen um den Zustand abzustellen.

close to 2 very busy highways - too noisy to sleep

Pros: The breakfast choices and cleanliness of dining room.
Cons: Replace windows, sound blocking drapes. Monitoring noise levels on large groups.
Location: Located on a main strip of restaurants and shopping
Staff at check-in was very pleasant and offered us a pre-printed listing of great places to eat. We (family of 3 with a 5 year-old) were put on a floor with 2 baseball teams...the hollering through the hallways and constant door-slamming went well past midnight. Our room faced 2 very busy highways which apparently became drag strips for the locals later at night. The noise was so loud it was if we had our windows wide open. The room was beautifully decorated but found many long black hairs in tub and on tile floor in bathroom...most likely from housekeeping...gross (not the first time we've found evidence of 'others' being in our room. (housekeeping should be made to wear hairnets in all hotels) Complimentary breakfast was lovely with many choices and fresh coffee...very clean dining room! Did not use pool. When we checked out the very next morning we let the desk clerk know how disappointed we were and all we got was an apology...no credit (maybe because we booked through Expedia and they were unable to handle it that way) but surely they could have put something back onto our credit card, or at the very least a voucher to a local restaurant...something...anything. Anyway - after talking with some of the locals of Clearwater they told us we could have booked a beachside room for the same price as the Fairfield which was at least a 20 minute drive from the beach. Oh and signs everywhere asking guests to 'excuse them and their dust'. Would we stay there again? Most likely NOT

I enjoyed my stay as the hotel was close to shopping and beach. Staff are very friendly and the room was clean and well decorated.

nice if you are going to ruth eckerd hall

The bed was very comfy and the hot breakfast was very good they had bacon!!!!! Always a good thing. We were going the the experience Hendrix at ruth eckerd hall. The hotel is only maybe 5 minutes from the hall, about 20 minutes to the beach. The walls a little thin i could hear doors slam and people talking in the hallway but other than that it was fine.

Pros: Cleanliness - beautiful landscaping and yummy breakfast
Location: Try Rumba - down the street - AMAZING SEAFOOD and COCKTAILS. Locally owned and they have their own fishing vessels! Great, great food!!
Great Location! Beautiful Area with lots to do! Beautiful lobby and super yummy breakfast! Rooms were clean - Staff was amazingly friendly and resourceful. Nothing bad to say at all. Will stay again when I am in the area.

Cons: Refrigerator in room, better curtains for privacy
For name Marriott the place was like a 2 star place. The staff were great.easy chein-in/out. but the Room was terrible. Curtain did not have privacy option. No fridge. Terrible overall setting.
