Cost effective option for those who wish to save.Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: Central location and price.
Cons: Carpets need to be replaced.
Location: Excellent location to go in any direction in Clearwater; Clearwater Beach to the west straight down Gulf to Bay; excellent restaurants 1/2 mi. east.
Great central location in Clearwater; older motel but good value; room as big as get in finer motel chains; room recently painted and kept reasonably clean except noticed black stains on white socks from walking on carpet; tile floors were clean; all bathroom and vanity fixtures worked fine and kept reasonably clean; clean linens daily; wall air conditioner kept room cool; small refrigerator and freezer worked fine; TV old but worked o.k.; clock/radio had seen its better days and barely worked; beds were old but comfortable with clean sheets; slept very well; only noises were an occasional slammed door or extremely loud motorcycle going by; much quieter than expected being on the main Gulf to Bay Road; didn't afford ourselves of the continental breakfast which apparently isn't much. Didn't use the pool but many others did. Overall a good cost/benefit for those who just need a place to shower and sleep.

Pros: The pool was Great, plenty of pool furniture and a nice Jacuzzi. WiFi was a huge plus.
Cons: Outside garbage cans needed to be emptied more often.
Location: Plenty of shopping and places to grab a bite within walking distance, Traffic on the Blvd. can be a problem at certain times.
We had a smoking room and it was comfortable with pleasant maid service. Nice fridge and stove. May want to bring your favorite pillow and ash tray.

Ok for a quick overnight stayPosted Jan 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was a reasonable rate...but the bathroom smelled strangely...There were stains all over the seats at the table and desk...on a good note it was newly painted...I wouldn't stay there again but it was fine for a last minute one night stay...

The room was smelly and the floor was quite dirty. It was a cheap place to sleep and shower but I will stay down the street at La Quinta next time. It was only 15 $ more and was much better.

Very functionalPosted Jul 13, 2013
My girlfriend and I rented a room for the weekend.Everything was clean and useful at some part of the weekend. The TV was clear, A/C was cold, fridge was clean and useful, and same goes for the microwave. The beds were comfortable and clean And there was a table to eat at when having takeout. The bathrooms were spotless and everything worked perfectly. Overall this room was good and we are planning to go back.

Close to the beach!Posted Jun 18, 2013
Pros: Close to the beach.
Cons: Hotel reception staff
Our family was excited to have found a cheap hotel near the beach on Expedia. But what was dissapointing was the fact that I was told I would pay $130 for a 2 night stay for 5 & however when we arrived to the hotel, owner charged me $160. He basically disregarded the Expedia altogether! On the website it said it was $55 a night & he just said "No it's $70 a night plus..." and he started mentioning other charges that I couldn't understand. It would've been more acceptable had he explained himself in a polite manner.
