Very Close to Clearwater BeachPosted Oct 8, 2013
Pros: Clean, totally remodeled.
Location: Clearwater Beach.
Totally remodeled, contemporary furnishings, very clean, great breakfast, friendly staff. Built around a courtyard that includes a large swimming pool and spa and mini golf that are well maintained. Great family place to stay and you can get to the beach easily without having to pay beachfront prices. Highly recommend.

overall nice, rooms damp & mustyPosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Front desk staff very helpful. Our room was nice, but very damp & musty smelling. We were transferred to a different room, but unfortunately it was also damp/musty (though not as bad). The iron was full of black flakes. I shook it out in the sink, but the stuff kept coming out. It was like emptying crumbs from a toaster!!! The breakfast was much better than the average continental breakfast. Two waffle makers, scrambled eggs, sausage, canned fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries, etc. Very nice pool area with hot tub, waterfall, small putting green for kids.

Easy drive to the beachPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a great time. The hotel is easy to find and in a location that makes it easy to get to the beach by just staying on route 60. Great breakfast selections. Staff very cordial and helpful.

nice "hotel" for pricePosted Sep 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
We got lucky with an odd number room. All room have outdoor entrances like a motel- odd rooms along the parking lot and even rooms inside around the pool are a lot less accessible. Breakfast got a little monotonous with scrambled eggs and sausage gravy 5 out of 7 mornings there. Pool was very nice- great kiddie pool with waterfall! We have 3 young daughters traveling with us and I had asked to have 5 towels each day. We only got 4 and each day I had to go to the main desk to ask for an extra towel. Housekeeping constantly turned the A/C down to 67 degrees which was a little too cool for us. While no fault of the hotel, Rt 19 is under construction right in front of the hotel.
