“OK, nothing to rave about!”

An older hotel, in decent shape, though I found some bugs in the room, it was reasonably clean. Room was pretty tight on space. Gulf d view was partial as advertised, not bad, but the noise from the AC units (sounded like a jet engine) was overwhelming when it kicked in. I expected more for my Platinum membership than a free bar drink ticket. Would have been nice to be upgraded as there appeared to be plenty of rooms, or at least offered it at a higher price. Not bad, just not great.

“Yearly destination”

My one major issue with this hotel is having to pay daily to park in their parking lot! We eat in their restaurant and stay in their hotel and we have to pay to keep our little rental car parked there. It has made us consider a new hotel next year for our annual trip

“Beautiful location.”

Beautiful gulf view accomodations, sunrise to sunset. Do not agree with hotel assessing nightly parking fee.

“Holiday Inn Clearwater Beach--AMAZING!”

The Holiday Inn Resort at in Clearwater Beach has it all--great location, comfortable rooms, top of the line pool area and other amenities, a quality bar, and amazing overall atmosphere. Plus, it's only a short walk from one of the nicest beaches in the country. What more could you want from a hotel!

“Nice Hotel”

We stayed at this hotel over Fathers day weekend. It was a nice hotel, right on the water and near local night life. The hotel is easy to miss, they don't have a big sign outside the hotel, so drive slowly. The only thing that we did not like was that we had to pay $12 for parking! We have never stayed at a hotel that charged for parking and were kind of annoyed by the fee. This is not disclosed on the Expedia website. Other than that the rooms were nice and clean and all the staff seemed nice.

“More than expected”

Wifey and I stayed here for a long weekend absent our 8 year old. Some highlights were: 8 1/2 foot at the deep end of pool, plenty of chairs at pool, deck with great ocean views at pool and restaurant, pretty good bar food and breakfast at hotel restauarant (which felt more like a beach bar than a hotel restaurant), skilled bartenders, clean rooms with comfy beds, great coffee shop. May want to stay on lower levels due to slower elevators in towers. Could not hear neighbors, but when they opened and closed their door it sounds like your door is opening and closing. That took some getting used to. The pier and strip type action is about a 1/2 to 1 mille down, but it's a short walk to other restaurants. Beach is very close. Hotel has minor game room. One or two piece band played most of the time. It's nice, not a destination for music, but nice ...

everything was perfect except for air conditioning in the room. It sounded like an airplane! other than that, everything was excellent!

“Hidden gimacks”

This was a beautiful hotel. I would go back there again and would recommend it to my family. There were 2 things I did not like about my stay. When I booked the room, there was nothing about having to pay a daily fee for parking. Also I had to walk a distance to get to the beach. Right outside the hotel is the ocean however, there were giant rocks with no access directly from the hotel.
