An older property, not the newer more modern amenities and look. Breakfast was $14 per person and not free like the Holiday Inn Express models are. Very close to an airport, convenient but noisy.

In a full service hotel, a in dining experience is a standard as many travelers like to sit down and enjoy a hot fresh cooked meal by a chef and have a table side service. The staff was very friendly. Our room was quiet and clean. We had our dog and asked form a room away from the elevator and we were accommodated even on a busy busy weekend in the area.

The drive from the airport on the shuttle was a fast trip. The brakes were smelling hot when we arrived. Then upon arrival the check in process was messed up and took a long time. Then we went to our room and we were placed in a room with a narking dog next door We returned to the front desk and discovered most of the rooms on tbe first floor on that wing had dogs. Then one lady said that was the only king room available. Which was partially tru, it was the only one on thar floor. Thankfully a much nicer person fixed the room problem. She was a newer employee and appeared to care more than the other person who obviously had been bere longer. We will never return to this hotel.

Aaron my apologies. With an unexpected flight cancel and many guests showing up at once wanting to check into a room and the hotel at the mercy trying to assist all guests, but everyone expecting the airlines to cover the cost was what caused the process to appear messy. The hotel had no communication from the airline to assist the guests. I need to follow up on the shuttle. Thank you so much for your feedback. We wished we could have controlled the barking pet, it appeared the owner was not locatable to address. I wanted you to know that we heard you.....We hope you consider us again in the future.

Holiday Express St Petersburg came at end of long journey south and provided a haven in rain storm for weary travelers. It was relaxed and friendly, desk people responsive and friendly. Thank you for a very nice stay. I took a long time to respond because I was continuing my travels and didn't have a lot of computer time. I was was very happy with arrangements at Holiday Express. I always stay at this location when I am in town for work. It is conveniently located and has a lot of restaurants in the area. I am always greeted when I enter. The rooms are always clean and I can count on feeling comfortable when I am there.

Your hotel is a joke. You canceled my reservation the same day we were supposed to arrive and did not even notify me. No explanation for why you canceled, and you have charged me and have yet to issue a refund. WORST EVER!

Hi Chuck- we apologize about cancelling your reservation due to the approaching Hurricane. We did notify everyone that had a valid phone number and the hotel followed procedure by contacting the 3rd party reservation companies to follow up with all the guests. We were under a MANDATORY evacuation as we are in a flood zone. We would lose power, and the hotel would flood, and the elevators would not be working- you would not be happy as we would have no way of providing air condition, lighting, nor food. You would not be able to get to the lobby unless you walked down the stairs and outside in the storm. I apologize that the Governor. took your safety into consideration when making it mandatory that we close the hotel.

We are Not a limited-service hotel with a buffet we are a full-service hotel with an actual cook that cook's breakfast to order, and there are servers that wait on you and take care of your needs while you sit and relax before starting your day. Please remember all Full-service hotels that have actual dining rooms do not include breakfast. prices are cheaper than fast food and it's a quality "FRESH" hot meal. I hope I helped you in distinguishing the difference of a full service and limited-service hotel.
