Lovely boutique hotel in St. Petersburg!Posted May 24, 2015
We really enjoyed our stay at The Hollander Hotel. It's a great little place in downtown St. Petersburg with pool, nice bar and wonderful food. Our room was on the first floor, opening right onto the pool and bar. We were initially concerned it would be loud, but no fears. We slept like babies in our super comfy king bed. The bathroom was tiny but perfectly fine. The hotel is pet friendly and while we didn't bring our dogs this time, we plan to return for a long weekend and bring them next time. Definitely worth a stay!

Really nice atmospherePosted May 22, 2015
Pros: The restaurant, bar, staff and location. Parking is really convenient.
Cons: The rooms could be updated, but some of that is down to the character of the building.
Location: Marina is a few blocks away with some nice restaurants along the waterfront. The beaches are only about 20 mins away in the car.
We stayed for 3 nights and really liked the hotel. The Tap Room is a great bar and offers some nice beers and food. The pool bar is also really nice. The room itself was perhaps a bit tired but the rest of the hotel more than makes up for this. The staff are amazing, particularly the wait staff in the bar/restaurant.

The new pool is a game-changerPosted May 16, 2015
We've stayed here twice before. Our latest visit, however, was a completely different experience because of the new pool, outdoor bar, and balconies overlooking the pool area. As always, the staff were wonderful. The Hollander is our hotel of choice for downtown St. Pete.

Bountiful Boutique Hotel,Posted May 16, 2015
From the moment you arrive at the Hollander you feel like family. The staff is amazing, the food is wonderful, the location perfect for anyone wanting to see the arts downtown, this is the place. The pool is delicious. We will definitely make it our place to stay in St Pete. Only tip... Be certain to ask for a room on the top floor because the hotel is older and you can here the people above you walking and they woke us in the morning.

Excellent StaffPosted May 16, 2015
Pros: The hotel staff was very accommodating.
Cons: Water pressure to the shower. Pool rules regarding diapered children.
We were there for four days. Staff was excellent throughout our stay. Food was very good and the Hotel is quaint. Pool area is wonderful. Our biggest concern, however, concerns pool activity by guests with very young children. We did observe parents take their children that were in diapers into the pool. This is a public health issue that should be addressed by the management. There should be a sign and a hotel rule that prohibits this activity. Children in diapers should not be allowed into the pool.

Very quaint and charming.Posted May 15, 2015
The rooms are a bit small but the property is well cared for and the beds are comfortable. The pool area is outstanding and the bar/restaurant is a hopping place. It is pet friendly which is a big plus. The hotel was built in 1933 and it is s great mix of historical and modern. I loved it and would definitely stay again.

Great hotel ! Beautiful lobby, pool areaPosted May 7, 2015
Great hotel with wonderful service. The on site restaurants and bars are superb with the only negative comment being that don't charge to your room. Great food at good prices. I had dinner and lunch. The front desk was very polite and helpful. The only slight negative was that the interior of the rooms were outdated compared to the rest of the hotel. Still very clean though. The bed wasn't very cozy but I slept well. Tiny bathroom but the room was a decent size. Definitely will go back !

Great - - except room 227!Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Clean, great location, bakery
Cons: The room I was in needs to be for vending machines, not people trying to sleep.
Location: The location is walking distance to night life, restaurants, theaters, marina, ball field, etc. Perfect.
This is a nice little boutique hotel, with a coffee shop, bakery, restaurant, spa, and complimentary shuttle. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a few blocks from all the action, and walking distance to everything downtown St. Pete has to offer. The room was clean. Our room, however, (room two twenty-seven), had a bed on the wall adjacent to the staircase to the lobby. This was a wide open, heavily traveled stairway, and we heard every step and every conversation on the stairs, all night long. I like that it is a wonderful little hotel, but my only reason for being there was sleep, and I didn't get much.
