Great hotel right on the beachPosted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: Restaurant offered an excellent breakfast buffet and the most amazing calamari ever. The chef's tables made dining a great experience.
Cons: Can't think of a thing that I would change.
Location: I visited Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island as well as the Clearwater Aquarium. I was only there for a quick 2 day getaway.
From check in to check out this hotel screams excellence. I found EVERY member of the staff to be friendly and dedicated to making my experience there the best it could be.

Not worth the moneyPosted Sep 8, 2014
The multi story car park for the hotel is shared with public parking and you have to swap elevators as the ones in the car park don't go to the rooms, bit of a pain. Tiny pillows and only 3 per queen bed. We stayed on the 8th floor with an open balcony unfortunatley it was littered with cigerrete buts from people on the floors above and I was worried that one might fall on my kids. Hotel resturant is expensive and not really very inviting, did not try it out. Thought it would have a private beach for the price, you have to cross a main road to get to it

Roomy hotel with great location close to beach.Posted Sep 7, 2014
Hotel perfectly suited our needs. Room was large and accommodating with in-room kitchenette full size fridge, cook-top and microwave. Location was perfect with nice views of beach and gulf and a quick walk to great restaurants and beach shopping. The pool on the eight floor offered a great view and respite from time at the beach. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurants in the hotel offered a great selection of food at reasonable prices. All in All it was a great choice for a beach vacation.

Hyatt RegencyPosted Sep 6, 2014
The Hyatt Regency was an amazing hotel. The staff was wonderful and kind. Jody was our cleaning lady's name and she did a wonderful job of keeping our room clean and sand free. We will be staying here again and I recommend the Hyatt Regency to everyone.

The room was great and had an awesome view.Posted Sep 2, 2014
I loved the balcony. I didn't like that the swim bar and grill closed so early. There wasn't much to do after around 7 and the whole place was a ghost town after 11. The beach cabanas were awesome! There was a $25 a day resort fee at checkout.

On beach, your own kitchen, great for familiesPosted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Luxury , but not stuffy.
Our hotel room overlooked the beautiful beach, and pier with the bay lights sparkling after an amazing sunset. We had an early, light dinner in the lounge with tropical drinks to set the mood. We enjoyed our breakfast on our balcony prepared in our well equipped kitchen. The room was very comfortable with a white glove clean kitchen and a bathroom that looked like we were the first to ever step foot. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Great hotel experience!Posted Aug 27, 2014
Cons: Extra hooks in bathroom.
Location: Good location, shops and some restaurants nearby.
We loved the Hyatt, spacious rooms, friendly staff, good location! Only one downside, a lot of fees! Self parking fees, resort fees, and taxes add up quickly!

Fantastic hotel!Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Accommodation, staff, facilities.
Location: Right on the beach, close to local bars where the food was excellent. Plenty to do e.g.. boat trips.
We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite upon arrival which was stunning. The view of the beach from the balcony was amazing. Really impressed with this hotel. Staff, facilities etc were all a very high standard.
