“Knights Inn Tropicana "Not Bad for the Price"”

The hotel is not in the greatest neighborhood, but for the money i paid, it was well worth it.. Two nice amenities were the free continental breakfast and free wi-fi. The location is very convenient for the reason I was there (to see a couple of baseball games), also you can literally be on the interstate in 2 or 3 min from your hotel room bound for tampa or downtown st. pete. the pool was very well kept. the only thing that bothered me a little was that i rented a "smoking" room and there were no ashtrays.

If your looking to have a romantic getaway full of relaxation at this hotel, you will be disappointed. If your looking for something cheap so you can splurge on other excitements in the area, this is the hotel for you. It is right next to the Intestate and fairly close to the PIE airport. Sadly there wasn't much in that neighborhood to do, and the neighbors in the hotel were a little unruly at nights. But overall a pleasant experience for the money we paid.

Istay here frequently when going to Rays games the hotel is economical and well maintained.

Only 4 miles from the hospital and the price was right . . .

“For the Price, Great Hotel”

It's not the Ritz! Room had a damp, musty smell. The wall paper was peeling. But there was fresh towels everyday, the room was cleaned every morning. The night desk person was extremely rude, luckily the girl during the day was charming and very helpful. The convenience of the location to Tampa, St Pete, and Clearwater was GREAT! The hotel was right of the major highway, but far enough away that there was no traffic noise. Overall for the price of the hotel and the convience of location I would recommend this hotel.

Very nice for the very affordable price. The staff was very kind and helpful with directions and suggestions on dining. The hotel is a little older but well maintained and very clean. A family friendly atmosphere-would stay there again.

This is an ok hotel, if you need a cheap place to stay. Room had a very stale odor. Bathroom was clean.

“Hotel of a thousand smells”

Smelly, mildewy, with black stuff on the bathtub mat. Even the front office smelled of something very strong - don't know if it was curry or similar substance. I'd only stay here if no other choice.
