“Lorelli”

My dog was able to roam around freely. Check in and check out was remarkably easy and the staff was very friendly.

“Wonderfully romantic, but bring a mattress”

It was the cutest little place ever. It's no 5 star, but it was the most relaxed I've been in a long time. The beds are kinda hard and the shower was a pain, but the view from the room and the proximity to the beach and downtown made up for that. We loved it. Definitely would stay there again.

“Good for pet lovers”

Old, but nice, especially if traveling with your dog.

“Recommended for pet owners.”

Pets are definately welcomed. The other residents were respectful and quiet. The building could use some maintenance, but overall, for a small owner operated hotel and for the price, I was pleasantly surprised. I plan to visit again in the future.

“A surprisingly nice suite”

Apparently this motel just transferred ownership. We spoke to one of the new owners while checking in and she was extremely nice. We booked a normal room with them, but their only available room was (what she called) the "mack daddy suite", so they gave us that room at no additional charge. We didn't complain! The two story space was really nice. It had a porch that looked out over the nearby channels (with a built-in kitchen already supplied with dishware), a living room with a fireplace (!) and a nice bedroom upstairs. We were really surprised by how nice this room was, given the outside of the hotel, which does look pretty dilapidated. Compared with the rest of the surroundings, though, this was actually on par. The only issue we really had was that our room was not stocked with soap or shampoo in the bathroom; we did not realize this until fairly late into the night, and by that time the office had already closed. It didn't end up really being a problem; we have no issue skipping a shower.

“Good or bad??”

I would recomend this hotel for two reasons, good price and pet friendly. I can only voice my opinion on the one room. My room was very very dirty, so much dust on floors, hadn't been cleaned in some time, I took wet paper towel and cleaned a big spot in the middle of the tile flooring and could not believe how dirty the whole floor was, i could not walk barefoot at all. Full kitchen, but would not use refrigerater, has not been cleaned, food stuck inside, with a peice of hair. The trash can had extra bags in the bottom of can, but was covered with food. The bathroom seemed to have been cleaned, except the floor. No windows open, covered with shredded mini blinds (due to dogs, understandable). Did not use cieling fans, too much dust on them. Locks on doors, not good, that includes doors that are connecting rooms. We could hear the neighbors talking through the walls, which made our dogs bark. Outside, decent, except for where our room was. We first had to walk past a dirty thrown out mattress, down the back side of the building to get to our room, which didn't seem to safe. Unknowling, our friends went to check the hotel before we got there, and they were shown two different rooms in front, and those where clean, so it was assumed to be alright. Did we complain? NO! We toughed it out, we were tired and didn't want to move again, wouldn't do it again though! We just made sure when we weren't in the room we didn't leave anything of value, (location of room, bad locks).

“Enjoyed our time”

The hotel is really small, probably about 12 rooms. The room had tile floors which was really nice since we brought our dog and clean up was easy. The hotel is also gated so dogs can run around without worry. The room was average but did have a fridge, sink, dishes, microwave and stove. There is a Publix a block down so you can buy easy things to make and store/heat up rather than always eating out. I'd say the room was basic (bed, bathroom) and there was a table and chair to sit at. The rooms can use some updating. I'd recommend bringing your own pillows and blankets to have extra comfort. There is also a nice balcony where you can relax on your porch and see the beach across the street or canal behind the hotel. They also had a back patio that has a dock (bring your fishing poles), community grill (gas and charcoal), fire pit and chairs to relax. I thought the patio was really nice. Service was also good and friendly. Public parking is across the street and there is easy access to the beach and all the stores on the strip. It was a really good location and decent price. We also brought our bikes to get around. Overall the stay was really good and I'm glad they are really pet friendly. It's not the W in New York or anything, but a decent place to stay if you are looking for the el-cheapo route. Hope this helps!

“Dump”

The rooms could have been cleaned better. There was dirt and other items left under the bed and in the microwave by previous guests. The sheets and pillow cases were so threadbare that you could see through them. I can handle the furinture from the 60's but the owners could have invested in some new sheets. Overall I was dissapointed in the motel. If the owners would invest a little bit of money to clean the place up it could be a very nice place. If you stay here you also need to bring your own toilet paper. Our room did not have any and this motel does not provide house keeping so you are own your own if you need anything.

“DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS DUNP, LORELEI RESOT”

This place should be shut down!! Only one light in the whole place, MOLD and dirt in bathroom, smashed front door, patched with plywood, window would not lock, shades did not work, window air would not cool the place. There was a foul smell in the whole place! The place is extremely old and outdated!!! Way overpriced for what it is!!!!

“don't stay here”

First gave us a room with no stove and tiny refrig. I had to tell them the pictures showed a stove and then they gave us a room with a stove. The stove had a broken dial, so no way of knowing the temperature. No room service. Stayed there three days and no one ever came to empty trash, give new towels, basically ignored. Trouble locating staff as hunted all over motel and they were usually nowhere to be found. Free wi-fi was a joke. There was no free wi-fi. The code they gave was wrong. Would never stay here again!
