Family get together.

Posted Nov 10, 2013
Pros: Clean, everything needed was there, quiet.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: John's Pass for sights, shopping and good food. A walk to white sandy beach.
We rented this condo to spend the weekend at the beach with family that was in town. Everything was as expected for accomodations. One problem, though, was trying to cross Gulf Blvd. We had small children and an infant with us and people just wouldn't stop, flying past while we were in the middle of the street. Of course, this wasn't the fault of the condo. My point is, if you're there to enjoy the beach, it's tough crossing over. Other than that...great place to stay and the price was great through Expedia.

It was a last-minute decision to stay

Posted May 12, 2013
Pros: Clean spacious rooms, low-key staff, and close proximity to the beach
We booked at the last minute because our friends were staying nearby and we were so pleased to get Such a great hotel! There were no in hotel restaurants but everything was really close by so that did not matter. We got a two bedroom one bath condo overlooking the bay. Within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping and directly across the street from the beach. Have already recommended this place to friends at work.

Better than home!

Posted Oct 26, 2012
Pros: All the unexpected extras - washer/dryer, pool toys, books, CDs, etc.
Cons: The tap water and ice maker ice tasted/smelled funny, but this was common at every restaurant and drinking fountain in the area.
Location: Perfect, marina full of beautiful boats on one side and a publicly accessible beach right across the street on the other side - close to everything!
We all enjoyed our stay in the condo, especially the fact that there are two bathrooms, which made cleaning up after our time on the nearby beach go a lot faster. It's ideally located, with a marina full of beautiful boats on the one side and a publicly accessible beach across the street on the other side. The pool area is small, but adequate and has a convenient outdoor shower so you can rinse off after returning from the beach - as long as you remember to take your pool key with you. :-) The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were both adequately sized that we never felt cramped - the plethora of appliances in the kitchen (coffee maker, blender, electric kettle, etc.) made food preparation a breeze. Full size refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher and microwave. The in-room washer and dryer was a pleasant surprise as it gave us a chance to have dry, clean bathing suits and beach towels every day. In the closet with the washer/dryer was a pool noodle and a boogie board, which the kids both appreciated. If we ever return to Madeira Beach, we would definitely pick this as our destination. Note: If you're bringing a pet, be sure to tell them prior to your arrival - only certain units are allowed pets and you might get assigned to a unit that doesn't allow them if you don't say for sure.

Very Disappointed!

Posted Sep 8, 2012
We have stayed at this Hotel many times, but this recent stay was disappointing. The floors were covered with sand and dust balls were under the beds. We left our shoes at the door to cut down on the amount of sand already in the condo. My husband used paper towels to wipe up some of the dirt when we arrived it was so bad. Ceiling fans were covered with so much dust, they were black. Not good for my allergies at all. The beds were ok, but the couch and chairs were not comfortable at all. We had a nice view, but dogs barking in the hotel and construction next door woke us up very early everyday. Also, one of the toilets ran constantly and we had to shut off the water flow every night just to sleep.

The resort was very clean and beautiful. The management was pleasent and helpful. The area was perfect - 1 block from Johns Pass - Boardwalk, Resturants, Shops. We had a great time. Will definitely stay there again.

Great Place to Stay

Very roomy and comfortable for the money. Also very clean and had a great view of the Marina area. We could see Dolphins swimmiing in the canal by the Marina. Definitely worth a visit and I would stay there again!

my stay at Madeira Beach

Posted Jun 12, 2012
Pros: it was in fla.
Cons: the pool
Location: not very desirable
the staff was very helpful and fixed what needed to be repaired asap. All the necessary items were available and except for the stains on the carpet it was clean and comfortable. The parking was convenient and it had a covered garage so the car did not get hot. The price was very reasonable. what we most objected to was the size and placement of the pool. it was so near the street so it was loud with the traffic. the pool was quite small and the water was too warm. Around the pool there were only 2 shade umbrellas and those were attached to the tables so you could not get out of the sun. The worst part was that there was no bathroom facility near the pool and were obliged to go up to your room. Very inconvenient. The hotel is right on the Gulf Blvd so it is best to take a room without a gulf view. the second bedroom did not have a window or any dresser to put clothes in. Considering the price it was okay; you get what you pay for. However with the inconveniences i mentioned i would not return.
