“Excellent Location”

The location was great the pool was right beside the water . Ever day we were there we saw Dolphins playing in the water from our belcony room , pool or an the very clean beach right there at the hotel. Walking distance to restaurants , shopping and many points of interests.

“Will be back.”

The hotel and facilities were well maintained and the location was central to our activities. We used the beach area everyday and enjoyed it very much. The complimentary coffee in the lobby was a nice touch.

Area recommendations

When we visit we have favorite haunts from Bradington Beach to north Tampa.

“My Review”

Hotel was better than I expected. Ok bar downstairs, but close to a couple nicer ones within walking distance. Wallgreens and liquor store right across the street. IHOP (located in the hotel) was hit and miss; half the time service was great, other half the time it was horrible. All in all a nice place to stay. However, there was an additional charge to park at the hotel that we were not informed of prior to arriving.

“Nice Hotel Located On Beach”

For the price we find the hotel more than adequate. Rooms and overall hotel area was clean. With the pool and location right on the beach amenities were perfect for what we were looking for. Attached IHOP restaurant and beach bar were convienent for our stay. Location relatively near other restaurants, Walgreens, large public beach and park beach were nice as well. Hotel staff was very friendly.

“Nice location”

The staff was very nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. A great location near Pier 60 and there is a trolley to take you everywhere. Nice place at a great price.

“florida”

the hotel staff was very knowledgeable about were sites were in neighborhood,or even town,very helpful with directions,the hotel was very clean never a sad look in anyone's eyes always a smile and good greeting. We unluckily had to call maintance twice and the gentlemen again was very courtious and kind.only recomaandation i have is instead of four small pillows on bed is make two large pillows. it was also nice to have our breakfest to be comped by the IHOP that was located on site. if i were to travel again in that neck of woods yes i would stay at your hotel and and highly would recommend it to others that say that is were they are going

“Good Value; Great Location”

Hotel is on the beach with its own tiki bar. For the price, it is a good value. It has an IHop attached to the front of the hotel, which is convenient. Room is standard; nothing special but nothing to complain about. Front desk personnel were courteous and helpful. In addition to being on the beach, it is close to Shepherd's which has great buffets as well as a good bar with music...happening spot on the beach. Will definitely stay here again.

“Long Time user will return”

Hotel is clean and location is perfect. We've stayed here 7 times in the last 10 years and this year the facility was better than ever. Only opportunities were the bed was like something Fred Flinstone slept on - HARD - could have used a pillow top mattress, and the new charges for parking per day andr the cabana set up of 2 chairs and 1 table and 1 umbrella for the day. The staff is friendly and did a great job. The beach is clean and the pool is nice. We will return, but we will not pay that much for chairs and an umbrella. One other issue is the locals that come up and drop anchor with their boats and jet skis and take up all the room to play in the gulf. Try throwing a ball or frisbee in the water with 8 boats anchored in that small space.

Area recommendations

The public beach and marina area has a lot of activities and is very clean and well organized. The beach has lifeguards and security so it is very safe. Pier 60 has a lot of afternoon and evening activities. The marina has deep sea fishing boats, wave runners, parasailing, and sight seeing tours available. There are also lots of little shops across from the beach to shop in.

“May try another hotel, but may go back to this one too”

Great spot on the beach. It was at a nice location. Plenty of shopping and food around. Pier 60 right down the road. Great spot. However housekeeping was horrible. They never changed our sheets to the beds. Pretty gross after being in sand all day. Also the beds were not comfortable at all. Tiny bathroom sink Our phone wouldn't work so we couldn't call housekeeping or anything. They kept saying "oh ya, we will get that taken care of" Never did. However the employees were really nice. But due to it's location that's all just petty stuff. I loved Clearwater. Next time I go to clearwater I will stay a lot longer!
