“Residence Inn hotels from California to Florida are the BEST!!”

Excellent customer service! The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions to surrounding places of interest. Excellent location to beaches, shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. Very comfortable room (we had a two bedroom two bath suite). Plenty of room to relax with four staying in the room. Will stay there again when we visit Treasure Island :o) Our family always stays at Residence Inn hotels and they are always great!! From California to Florida we have always been extremely satisfied with the service we receive!!

Area recommendations

St. Pete/Clearwater area is not a real touristy location, but is very relaxing and a great place to do a lot!

Must see

Tarpon Springs Sponge docks. This is a little bit of a drive, but very worth it! The Greek village is like traveling to a totally different place. A quaint, picturesque town with locals to tell stories of the sponge divers and greeks migrating to the area. My 13 son and 9 year old daughter loved it just as much as I did when I visited there as a child! Hasn't changed at all. I still love that place!

“Great place to visit!”

The only thing I would liked to have had would be umbrellas offered closer to the water. Other than that our stay was perfect.

Area recommendations

Just drive around. The people are so interesting. Go over the Sunshine Skyway bridge. Check the area out online before leaving home. There's plenty to do no mater what your passions are. Among other things, we played at the beach with our grandchildren & took in the Rays/Yankees game.

“beutiful beach”

Have stayed here 2 times before, this was overall the best stay. the hotel has been well maintained since last stay 2 yrs ago. beach still beautiful. Breakfast is good, little crowded (hotel was full) they need a little larger eating area. Local recomendation for a restaurant St Pete Bch. was great. Fetishes Dining , on Gulf Blvd...8 tables , top end food, quality and service... will go back to hotel and restaurant.

“We Love Treasure Island!”

We live in Central Florida, closer to the Atlantic, however we ALWAYS prefer to drive the extra 45 min to get to the Gulf Coast bc it is so gorgeous. Treasure Island is quiet, serene, the perfect place for a relaxing family vacation. We love this hotel. Our room was very clean and nice. The bathroom is updated. My husband and I had our own room w/our own balcony to retreat to while our son slept in the other room. How nice to be able to close the door and feel like we were all alone on vacation :) Everyone including the other guests were very friendly & courteous. The kitchens have everything you could ever need to make it feel like you're at home (except a blender for pina coladas!). We will definitely be back to this hotel and to Treasure Island. The only thing I can say is that I wish they had a pool or hotel bar or just a blender in the room!!

Area recommendations

If you are looking for something to do, it's just a short drive to Johns Pass & Boardwalk where there are several restaurants & bars, and a very good selection of boat tours. We did the sunset dolphin cruise this trip and it was perfect! We saw about 7-8 dolphins and the sunset was absolutely amazing!!

“Great Stay!”

Great stay! Good location near a a supermarket, shops, restaurants, right on the bike and running path, and of course the beach. My only qualms were that the sofas were somewhat uncomfortable. and I wished there was a dvd player in the room.
