“Great Stay!”

Great stay! Good location near a a supermarket, shops, restaurants, right on the bike and running path, and of course the beach. My only qualms were that the sofas were somewhat uncomfortable. and I wished there was a dvd player in the room.

“Residence Inn hotels from California to Florida are the BEST!!”

Excellent customer service! The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions to surrounding places of interest. Excellent location to beaches, shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. Very comfortable room (we had a two bedroom two bath suite). Plenty of room to relax with four staying in the room. Will stay there again when we visit Treasure Island :o) Our family always stays at Residence Inn hotels and they are always great!! From California to Florida we have always been extremely satisfied with the service we receive!!

“Treasure Island's Best”

Very nice hotel. We had a one bedroom suite with two balconies on the southside of the hotel on the 7th floor. The bed was very comfortable and the updated shower was great. The hotel and its room were very modern and clean. Housekeeping and room service were all pleasant and nice to the guest. Happy Hour at the bar by the lobby was fun and the drinks were free. Great Service! The bartender kept topping off are drinks before we could finish them. There was a pool but we never got in because the hotel is beach front and the beach was not too busy. Why go to FL to swim in a pool? The hotel provides beach towels if you just ask. Only draw back is there is only one elevator for the entire hotel and it takes forever. We took the stairs half the time; I didn't mind, but I'm sure some people do. At night I suggest you go outside of Treasure Island if you are looking for nightlife. Treasure Island is mainly little shops and hotels/motels. The other beach cities nearby, such as St. Pete Beach and Clearwater Beach have more to do. Also check out John's Pass at Maderia Beach. It is about a mile north of the hotel. Explore outside of Treasure Island if you are looking for stuff to do, unless you just want to relax on the beach your entire trip.

“Fantastic stay - and we are picky”

Beautiful clean rooms (1 Bedroom suite) -recently renovated Staff is friendly and aims to please. Very nice ocean view fom the room's 2 balconies (living room and bedroom). Flat Panel TV's, stainless appliances, and granite counter tops. Fitness room has new machines (PreCore), and Dumbells (biggest is 25 lbs. Breakfast buffet is very good -make your own waffles, breakfast burritos, and the usual yogurt, fruit, cereal, etc. We will definitely be back. Hopefully, the new Tiki Bar will be in by then.

“Best hotel I've ever experienced”

The hotel is everything and more than what I expected. The front desk staff, cleaning staff, food service staff and any other employee we encountered were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had so much to choose from that I ate something different every day. This hotel is right on the beach which had clean white sand. It has a good central location so it wasn't far to any of our destinations. The rooms were neat and clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. I don't have anything bad to say about the hotel or the trip in general! I highly recommend it.

I was very pleased with the hotel... I had a one bedroom suite which was just amazing. The rooms were clean, comfortable and remodeled... I would recommend staying here.

“Great Place to Stay!”

Rooms were great except the bed was too hard for me. Full kitchen ammenities, they shop for you if you want. Free wireless internet in the room. Separate balacony in bedroom. Housekeeping everyday. Safe in room. Free breakfast and paper every morning. On and on. Staff was wonderful! One of my best experiences at a hotel.

“Best Hotel in area”

Of the hotels in the area, I really think this is one of, if not the best!!! I had read several complaints about not having enough food at the free buffet but never experienced that myself - and we arrived late a few days. The surrounding area had all sorts of shops and restaurants that were great - I especially liked The Hut at John's Pass. I believe this hotel had the best beach in the area - on our first night, a sand bar opened up and we were able to walk about 150 ft into the ocean! The rooms were very very clean and the air conditioning worked amazing!!! Tampa is less than two hours away from Orlando so we went to some of the parks as well. If you're trying to find a place to stay in St. Petersburg/Treasure Island - look no further than the Residence Inn. We were in room 808 and had two balconies - one off of living room and the other off the bedroom. While laying in bed, you could look at the door and see the ocean. Had guests with us staying in 511 - the other side of the hotel.. preferred the side we were on because the view was better - more direct!
