“Welcoming Home From Home”

We stayed at the RNB for two nights, 27/28 July and totally loved it ! Rose is a treasure and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Our apartment, 106, was fresh and clean and very spacious. We made good use of the complimentary beach chairs, cooler and beach umbrella. The beach is just across the street and we enjoyed our lazy days and beautiful sunsets very much. Would recommend to anyone.

“Nice hotel - will go back”

We have vacationed in Clearwater Beach for 13 years and this is the nicest hotel we stayed at for the price. Clean rooms and property, very quiet at night and close to the beach. We were able to walk to the restaurants. Our next trip to Clearwater will be back to the Royal North Beach.

“Don't judge a book by the cover”

This was an awesome place to stay!! love that it had a kitchen with fridge and stove plus it's 150.00 cheaper than any of the other hotels in the area!!

“Great location and price”

This hotel offered a perfect location to the beach for a great price. It is very well set up with a fully equipped kitchen and separate bedroom. My only complaints are the bed and furniture were uncomfortable and there was none of the usual complimentary coffee, tea, sugar etc. We had to go to the local quick mart and pay way too much for coffee and a little sugar. That was very disappointing to me. Overall, though, a great place to stay if you are wanting some good beach time and don't mind the small inconveniences.

“Beach Surprise”

I was skeptical in going here but it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The room was well decorated, and stylish for the theme. Paint and flooring seemed to be new. The walls had tasteful murals of beach themes on them. The furniture wasn't clean and comfortable. The entire unit (one bedroom/kitchen/dining) was very clean. Its location is close to dining and the beach. The pool looked delightful, but we didn't use.

“Not worth the money”

This hotel was very overpriced for what you get. If it would have been about 1/2 the price, I would have given it a better review. It is just an old beach hotel across from the beach, not directly on the beach. The decor is very old fashion and it may appeal more to the 60+ population. The room had a strange smell and the furniture was very uncomfortable. The bed in the bedroom wasn't bad, but the pull out bed was terrible. We had to place the mattress on the floor just to sleep on it. There was also too much furniture in the main room which made it difficult to move around and felt very cramped.This hotel also does not have parking and when we arrived, there were no parking spots. The staff was nice and paid for us to park at the hotel in back, but that was a bit of a walk and not overly convenient. This hotel is also a long walk to most restuarants or businesses, which is an issue because of the parking problem and walking is pretty much your only option. It is across from the beach, but the street is very busy and with small children and strollers, it is not ideal. They do offer beach toys, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. The towels and beach toys were handy, but when we borrowed the beach umbrella, it was old and rusted and couldn't be used.
