Unfortunately, our flight was delayed by several hours due to storms in the area. We had been looking forward to a wonderful dinner in the beautiful dining room, but we were not able to do that because we arrived so late. Breakfast was very nice though. We were unable to spend time the following day to check out the grounds. Hope to return another time to see all we missed!

I was at room 311. That room is incredibly toooooo noisy, there is no noise insulation between rooms at all. I was able to hear the room 312 guest snoring the whome night, phone calls, and all audibly noise possible. I was not able to rest at all. On top os that, the ac control looks outdated and the unit itself makes a lot of moise when it turns on. Impossible to keep the unit on and sleep at the same time. Other than that the staff and overall amenities looks very fancy and well maintained.

This property is awesome- the perfect place for a true relaxing vacation. The amenities are incredible; beautiful spa, indoor and outdoor pools, workout area, restaurant and separate bar, salon and outdoor pool bar overlooking Tampa Bay. The walkable Main St. has an array of delicious dining options and quaint shops. Safety Harbor is a beautiful area. Quiet and welcoming. You never have to leave the area to have a spectacular and restful vacation!

I loved this place. It would have been 5 stars if the kids had at least some hours to swim indoors. It was unusually cold out. Other than that one thing, it’s a little bit of paradise in a beautiful area!

Dated but nice
Pleasant stay - close to Ruth Eckert Hall for a concert. Excellent massage (Ricky) and a delicious lunch. The hotel is kind of maze-like in layout & my room was a bit dated, but clean. the weather precluded going outside, but I would return.

Wonderful hotel
Wonderful, historic property in a charming area with amazing art throughout that makes one feel that they are staying in a museum of fine art. We had a bay view room with a balcony that had a breathtaking view. Room was large and comfortable. The hotel staff was warm and responsive. The only problems that I encountered was at the spa. On my first day there I had three different services canceled on me because of sloppy management and no effort to find a replacement therapist when one got sick. Also some of the spa attendants were downright rude. On the up side, the pool was warm and clean, and the Jacuzzis were hot and strong with a little water that was very soothing. The steam room and sauna was at a perfect temperature and clean. They had an array of classes that were expertly led by warm and welcoming people. I will return, but I will make sure in advance that they have their act together in terms of my scheduled appointments

My only issue was waiting till 4pm to check-in. The day was half over and I'm still not in my room. Would be nice to get settled in and then go touring the area.

No privacy. Able to hear person in next room cough thru adjoining door and thru air pass-thru in bathroom. If we can hear them they can hear us. The feather type pillows are horrid. Spa wonderful

Great location, old and dated hotel.
The place is old. It really needs a major reno. Pool area is nice but rooms and rest of the hotel are really dated and kitchy with a Greek theme. I get that it’s a kinda historic spa and the staff is fine. Doubt they could ever afford to redo the whole place so just be prepared for a stay in and old dates hotel.

The area surrounding the resort was excellent- lots of dining and shopping options. The resort itself was dated but clean. Had to request room cleaning which was annoying. Spa was fine- layout a bit confusing and pretty active

Great weekend
Excellent spa experience, worth the $$. Spa amenities were great and can be used all day with the package. Crystal was awesome. Large, clean room but balcony railing was very rusty. Big stones around pool are slippery and hot. David at the pool bar was excellent as was the band. Jessie at the indoor bar took good care of us, live music was also great the night we were there.
