Not the friendliest staff or the best roomsPosted May 22, 2015
Pros: The pool was really great! Open late, plenty of towels and chairs for everyone.
Cons: Ensure your reservation is correct and make sure people get side-by-side rooms if needed. I'm glad it wasn't my kids that needed to be next to me.
Location: The town has some interesting shops (that closes super early and not open on the weekends). Fresh resturant is the best!! Not many bars around.
We stayed here for 3 nights, 4 days. The hotel is about 20 miles from the airport and a $17 Uber ride. The hotel is not beachfront and Safety Harbor is no where near St. Petes or Clearwater or Tampa (on a map, it looked like it was close to those places). Upon arrival at 10pm, there was one person at the desk and no customers. I had issues checking in because I booked two rooms under two different names with the same credit card. We had asked to be housed next to each other and we were on different floors. The hotel is a historical marker and looks great from the outside and the pool area was fantastic! Plenty of chairs and towels to go around for everyone. No outside bar though. The hotel was difficult to navigate around. Our room was a big size but it was humid upon arrival. We lowered the AC to 68 degrees. it didn't help. Our TV didn't work nor did our mini-fridge. We went the the hotel bar where one bartender was working. The room is small about only about 15 people in the place. It closes at midnight. It literally took us a good 15-20 minutes to get served, and people were constantly leaving because they were tired of waiting. Unfortunately, the same bartender was working the whole time we were staying there. Recommend you find somewhere else to stay for your money. We spent most of our time out by Indian Shore Clearwater which is where we will be staying on our next visit.

Very quiet and restful place. Nicely landscaped.Posted May 3, 2015
Pros: The beautiful scenery. The quiet pool and hot tubs with NO kids allowed.
Cons: I did not like the water in the spa areas to be loaded with lemons. They tend to assume we all like lemons in our water. My bed was a bit hard.
Location: Chill and relax. Enjoy the spa. Walk across the street for some ice cream.
I enjoyed my stay for the most part. The place is beautiful. It caters to adults, so there were no kids running around. There are no activities for children. The resort is a 20 minute ride from TPA. There is no need to rent a car as you can easily walk to some local restaurants in Safety Harbor. There is a Starbucks and Cold Stone Creamery across the street. The spa is very relaxing. However, their prices are pretty steep. I frequently go to my local day spas and the prices are much lower than they are here. Some of the workers in the spa have an attitude that they would rather not be working. I ate all my meals at the resort. The food was pretty good. However, when I specifically requested my eggs be scrambled yellow and fluffy and not scorched, the served brought them to me and they were quite scorched. The pools are beautiful. I was disappointed that even though non-smoking signs were posted all around the pool, a few smokers thought it was ok to light up. The outdoor bar really needs some work.

Mother-Daughter Spa WeekendPosted Apr 18, 2015
Pros: We were able to enjoy the total resort and spa experience that was offered because of the excellent customer service.
Cons: Continue to update the hotel.
Location: Downtown Safety Harbor should be experienced by foot. It is very charming with a variety of shops, restaurants, and bars, and is family friendly.
From check in to check out, the entire stay was extremely pleasant and relaxing. Our room had a view of the gulf, the spa treatments and spa staff were exceptional, the pool and Tiki bar staff were conscientious and helpful, the food at the Grille and Sunday Brunch was very good, and the front desk staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice place , beautiful view from my roomPosted Apr 18, 2015
We expect the people to inform us about the services and prices, I know the information is everywhere but always a person asking about if we want to participate or buy a package was more easy to decide, anyway the place was beautiful and the ladies at the front desk was amazing thanks

Comfortable and a bit quirkyPosted Apr 1, 2015
A bit "tired" in spots but we had a really nice stay. Restaurant serves good good at fair prices. Spa facilities are good if you're into that sort of thing. We're not but enjoyed the whirlpool and other pools. The spring water is lovely.

Nice resort and locationPosted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: The indoor mineral pool and hot tub. The location was great. The room size and comfort of the bed and pillows.
Cons: Have a microwave available in the room instead of charging. Take a recent photo of the outdoor pool and sitting area.
Location: The location was great very isolated and quiet. The Clearwater beach was a short distance away. The shopping and restaurants in walking distance.
The resort was very clean, peaceful and quiet. The indoor mineral pool, hot tub and spa was out of this world. I loved that we had stores, a variety of restaurants and pubs in walking distance and local. The pier was beautiful. If you did not want to drive there was a trolley bus available. The only thing that was a disappointment was the outdoor pool and bar area. The photo on the web site shows the pool area larger with this spacious sitting area and bar. I will stay at Safety Harbor again and I will recommend this resort to everyone ( couples and families).
