“Very Accomodating Staff”

I arrived a day earlier than I planned and asked if there was an open room. At first there was some question if the expedia rate would apply and that it might be significantly more. The night clerk said he would let the office figure it out. I was put in a room on the lowest floor which was too low to see the gulf because of a sea wall. The room also had some minor cosmetic problems. I requested a different room the next morning. They not only gave me a better room but when I got the bill It had the expedia rate for the whole stay! The staff was great. The view of the gulf is excellent as are the sunrises and sunsets.

“why stay any where else?”

The Tampa area is filled with national chains whose reliable mediocrity doesn't merit spending your vacation in their properties. SHRS is in a quiet, residential neighborhood along fitness trails and right on Tampa Bay. For the same price as one of the chain hotels, you get multiple pools with mineral water, hot tubs, shiny weight rooms, fitness classes, yoga classes, ample cardio equipment, tennis courts, driving range, poolside bar and grill and free bottled water all around their property. If you need to ruin your stay with work, they have meeting rooms as well. In addition, the hotel restaurant and room service menu has lots of healthy and moderately priced items so that if you choose to not leave the premises, you won't be 'stuck' with greasy hotel food. This is a destination spa that is perfectly suited for business or leisure travelers.

“I will defenetly stay there again, it was a gret place to stay”

The hotel and staff was outstanding, they where always there to assist you in everyway, after the first night my wife did not like the view, she asked the front desk if we could switch and that's all we had to say, we got a room with a great view, they moved all our stuff and they where very accomidating. Most times it's the staff that makes a great hotel.

“Very relaxed & friendly”

Nice quiet location, but easy access to beaches, Tampa & St. Pete, and airport: a rental car is a must. Hotel building shows its age in some ways, but is still very comfortable and elegant. The staff are all VERY friendly and helpful; the food is very good and the tiki bar a nice touch to the pool. Next time, leaving my son at home and coming back with my wife so we can enjoy some of the spa amenties.

“Wonderful Vacation!”

Just got back from a week-long stay. My son and I loved the place!! Our room was clean, bedding was awesome. Pools were pristine. I had a number of spa services, each one better than the last. It is a little tricky to learn how to get around, though. I would definitely consider staying there again.

“Exactly What We Needed to Escape the Pennsylvania Winter”

This hotel is a sleeper! As advertised, we had a king room with balcony overlooking the bay. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and the view was fabulous! The staff was very accommodating and gracious. The town of Safety Harbor is small, quaint town that is a great place to walk. Did we mention the walking/fitness path and the community pier next to the hotel. You want to see Manatees? They are right there! There are few town restaurants but the ones we dined at were very friendly and the food was good (Paradise Restaurant has a great breakfast. We did not eat or use the spa at the resort (too busy). Negatives - Very few. Update the bathrooms. The hotel is a maze. Be prepared to walk. The Expedia reviews helped us select a great vacation. You will love this resort! We plan to come back!
