Too much money for this resort.Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Activities for the children.
Cons: The problem with guests saving pool lounge chairs, not using them and leaving none for the others to use.
The hotel is beautiful and staff are friendly. I was very disappointed to be given a handicap room. The room looked industrious due to all the handicap railing. The view was stunning. There are signs around the pool that state if your chair was vacant for an hour that your stuff would be removed so someone else could enjoy the seats. I watched several lounge chairs that were "saved" for over 2 hours and no one was in them while I watched other guests walking around looking for available seats. I think the resort should find a better system for this problem. We enjoyed the beach chairs that are available to the guests and did not have a problem with renting an umbrella for $25.00/day. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and the food was good.

Perfect for a family vacationPosted Apr 12, 2015
Cons: Service at the hotel breakfast buffet was slow and inattentive. Hotel failed to make wake up call one morning.
Location: With children, visit the Clearwater Aquarium to see Winter and spend a half day on Captain Mike's boat (Dreamcatcher) snorkeling, tubing, & shelling.
Lovely hotel. Nice pool and convenient location on a relatively quiet stretch of beautiful beach. Very courteous staff and well-maintained facility. Walking distance to a number of family friendly/on-the-water restaurants (e.g. Frenchy's). Convenient on-site Starbucks and beachside casual restaurant. Very nice formal restaurant for dinner, lunch, and breakfast buffet. On-site spa for time out of the sun.

Expensive, but worth itPosted Apr 5, 2015
The Sandpearl is one of the few hotels on Clearwater that has an actual private portion of the beach. The nice part is they have their own beach chairs, umbrellas, cabanas for rent, and drink/food service right on the beach. We stayed for 4 days in April and it was great! The cost of the hotel is high, and you really are just getting towels, coffee, and wireless internet for the $25/day resort fee, PLUS you have to pay $20/day to valet park your car, so it isn't cheap. We only ate at the Gulf restuarant once and it was pretty good. The cocktails are well proportioned spirits + juice (not the typical juice with a spritz of alcohol at other resorts). Service was great, and they had many day activities planned. they also have on site child care which is a plus. Our best day was just sitting on the beach, having drinks and brought out to us by a great staff. If you're going to Clearwater and you're not there for college spring break, this is THE place to go by far.

Pricey but worth it.Posted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: The location on the beachfront and the attentive staff.
Cons: Furnishings and room design lower end for a hotel of this type. Wifi service was HORRIBLE. Housekeeper often forgot to replace used items, had to ask.
Location: Nice strip with restaurants, public dock for fishing, shops for beach-ware, toiletries, shopping. Fishing and parasailing. Aquatic activities.
Great attentive staff. Beautiful pool area with adjacent beachfront service. Restaurant and extra's for purchase were reasonably priced. Great attentive pool staff. Beautiful clean beach.

Best hotel on Clearwater Beach.Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Beautiful lobby, convenient coffee service, great location, comfortable beds.
Cons: Larger bathrooms with double sinks.
Location: Walk down the beach, run on the beach, browse local shops and restaurants.
Enjoyed our time at the beach and the pool area. We arrived early, and the hotel was able to provide us a room well before checkin time. I wish I could have stayed longer and experienced the spa!

Best Hotel In ClearwaterPosted Mar 20, 2015
Pros: Everything! Especially the spa...I had the best facial ever!
Cons: Adding more beach chairs and umbrellas.
Location: It was easy to walk to local restaurants and shops. One day, we used the bikes provided by the hotel and rode around the city.
The hotel staff is excellent and the hotel was beautiful with all you need to enjoy the beach. Upon our arrival, we were greeted and offered a complimentary Mimosa---yay! Our room was ready and we were happy when we saw the size of our room and the décor. When out feet hit the white sand, we knew we had made a great selection when we picked the Sandpearl. My only recommendation is for the hotel to add additional beach chairs/umbrellas as several days we did not go out to the beach until after 1:00 p.m. and there were no more chairs or umbrellas. From the restaurant staff, to the spa staff, to staff at the activities desk, and the attendants on the beach, it is obvious that they have been well trained to provide a level of customer service that is above and beyond other hotels. I would highly recommend the SandPearl Resort if your travels take you to Clearwater.

The hotel is very expensive for what it can offer. Rooms are too small and with carpet

Nice hotel, the nicest staff in Clearwater Beach.Posted Mar 14, 2015
Pros: Everything but valet.
Cons: Valet drivers.
Location: Near the beach.
We had a fantastic time at the hotel. The only unfortunate experience we had was with valet driving wreck-less with our Porsche Turbo S. The hotel should give their customers the option of self parking for those who don't want their $200,000 automobile being driven by someone incompetent.

Excellent Vacation!Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Location, property was beautiful, its right on the beach and the resturants were top notch
Cons: The fountain is a bit loud to run day and night.
Location: The location is right were all the stores and shops are and more importantly, right on the beach.
Staff is incredible! The grounds were kept up very nicely. They had activities every night...Smores on the beach, and the concierge services set up fishing for us with Captian Jack!

Great location and pool on the beachPosted Feb 22, 2015
Location: Clear Sky Cafe next door is fabulous for breakfast.
We enjoyed a repeat stay in Feb 2015. The hotel staff are friendly and polite. The zero-entry pool is great for kids. The weather was too cool to enjoy much beach time, but the views are great.
