the weather was not good, so we couldn't take advantage of the pool and beach. They charge you $25.00 a day resort fee. This includes the beach chairs, but if you want an umbrella or a cabana they charge extra. They charge you $20.00 a day valet fee and you really have no other choice because there is no other place to park your car. I think the room fees to high.

Bring your wallet!!!

The place is nice but be prepared to pay. What they don't tell you is that there is a daily amenities fee of $25 per day and in addition to that if you need to park your car you'll be looking at an additional $20 per day parking fee! So basically, add $45 per day to whatever room rate you think you're going to pay. (Oh, plus taxes and local charges)

Perfect size and very comfortable

Posted Nov 10, 2014
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and I loved that the resort was very "resort-ish" without being too big, even though their were three weddings going on that weekend we never felt like our service was lacking in any way. The spa prices are a bit pricey and the restaurant was way overpriced for the quality of food, but the resort itself was great and the beds were very comfortable!

Junior Suite Spectacular

Posted Nov 7, 2014
Pros: Almost everything.
Cons: The restaurants. Dining was "meh" at best. Very expensive. Both of our breakfasts littered with large chunks of egg shells. Key Lime tart also meh
Location: Kayaked from Dunedin to Caladesi Island per the recommendation of a waitress at the hotel, and it was a fantastic experience. Not to be missed.
Great hotel. Customer service staff outstanding. Beautiful location. Corner, Junior Suite - is just not to be missed. The waves lulled us to sleep each night.

Wow!! This resort had everything and more!!

When we arrived, Shelley at reception took care of us. She gave us the best room with the best view. Next, we were given 2 glasses of champagne and headed up to our room. The room was so spacious with two balconies and a full kitchen. We loved every minute spent at Sandpearl. Shelley even had chocolate strawberries delivered to our room with a birthday card for my husband. The staff went above and beyond our expectations.

Beautiful hotel, well appointed.

Posted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: the bright colours
Cons: room service in a more expedient manner
Beautiful place, however, having to wait until 4.30 pm, and a couple of reminders, to have a room done is not acceptable and the pricing should be all inclusive without additional fees. Also the breakfast is priced at $ 21 buffet too high.

Perfect getaway

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: The pool area was the best. waiters in the pool area are great.
Cons: I would have like to known we were going to get a handicap accessible room.
Location: Nearby restaurants, and stores. Pier 60 is an easy 10 minute walk.
Very nice property. Great pool area with easy beach access. Staff was attentive and handled a problem with the balcony door the morning after check-in.
