Nice resort, harbor view room not acceptablePosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Lots of amenities.
Cons: Small pool, long walk to the ocean.
Location: There is a boardwalk within walking distance (just south of the Marriott) across the street with shops and restaurants, highly recommended.
The overall resort was very nice, staff was helpful and pleasant. We found our "harbor view" room to be a view over the large conference center roof. We could not sit outside on the balcony due to the noisy A/C units. We asked to have our room changed and the manager approved a new room on the other side of the hotel. The new room saved our vacation, thanks to the hotel general manager!

Family friendly hotel on the beachPosted Apr 12, 2015
Friendly staff. Enjoyed the pool, poolside bar and beach all right there. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Otherwise did not like the poolside café or tavern food. Hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes from Pier 60 and the Clearwater Marina. Nice fitness room and plenty of nice outside areas for running. Definitely a family destination. Plenty of activities around the pool and beach for kids, including volleyball, tennis, paddle boating, etc.

RelaxingPosted Apr 5, 2015
I cannot say enough about the friendliness of the staff. We were very pleased with everything. The food at the Mainstay Tavern was great and staff again...friendly and fun. Thank you for a great vacation. Beach was beautiful and pool enjoyable.

Everything about our stay was great other than the rooms view we were given. They advertise that all rooms have a balcony, well ours did not. We opened our slider to a roof- so disappointed. Thought maybe we would be given a slight discount etc I want to stay again next spring break but will have to rethink my decision.

Simply the best - AgainPosted Mar 27, 2015
My family and I have stayed at this property many times over the years and always had a fabulous time. We were there to see the Badgers in the Outback Bowl in January and went back during Spring Training in March. Wonderful, warm and relaxing time at the pool and on the beach. Great pool, beach, rooms and the STAFF IS THE BEST. Polite and helpful. You can't go wrong with the Sheraton Sand Key. If you want more hustle and bustle u can take the trolley over the bridge to the public Clearwater Beach and restaurants.

nice and right on the beachPosted Mar 12, 2015
Pros: Hotel was right on the beach, very clean and nicely decorated.
Cons: Beach chairs should be included for guests of this hotel.
Location: Was only there for one night so stayed at the hotel.
Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff that sits right on the beach; pool area nice with a small outdoor bar, no food available only drinks. No charge for parking but you have to rent chairs to sit on the beach, $25 a day. Location is excellent would definitely come back.

Great beach hotel!Posted Mar 7, 2015
Pros: The location, the price, the rooms, everything, this is our 4th stay here, I would not stay anywhere else in this area.
Cons: Not a thing, everything was great.
Location: Close to Clearwater Beach, Pier 60, and local attractions.
The Sheraton Sand Key is a great beach hotel, the staff is friendly and helpful, our room was clean with very comfortable beds and linens. The pool and hot tub area is always clean and well kept. Short distance to the beach, lots to do for kids and families. Great places to eat within the hotel, great beach hotel for families.

Very nice resort with private beachPosted Mar 6, 2015
Loved that this resort is away from the super tourist area, yet close enough to still enjoy that area. The trolley and bus access is also very convenient to use. Everyone we encountered at the resort was exceptionally nice and helpful. Loved the pool area lots of lounge chairs, beautifully landscaped, grat tiki bar and snack bar.
