“A Super All Adult Resort”

What a wonderul resort. Quiet, staff outstanding, beach wonderful, our housekeeper Mary was a delight. Our room was super clean - absolutely did not have to worry about bringing home any critters of any kind. Food delivery of all kinds available if you don't feel like cooking. Romantic time with my hubby.

“Not impressed”

Room reserved was noisy, dirty and a 1/2 eaten pie left in fridge. Complained next day to mgr and was switched to a gulf view room. The furnishings and bed are were plush. Ceiling fans caked with dust. I felt dirty in the room. Wore socks or flip flops in room. Pool was nice. Continental breakfast consisted of Little Debbie snacks, apples, prepackaged small muffins and honey buns, gronola bars. Coffee with a nice selection of creamers but no juice. Most likely will not return.

“Right on the Beach, quiet, clean, great staff!”

I would stay here again. It is not fancy, but the rooms have everything you could need and they are kept immaculately clean. Rooms have balconies that face the Gulf. It is quiet, the bed was comfortable. The pool is well-maintained. There are always staff members present who are very gracious. There is a small laundry in the main building and an ironing board and iron. They provide fresh coffee and continental breakfast. I found my room and surroundings pleasant and I felt safe as a woman traveling alone. The grounds are very well-maintained and staff frequently are seen combing the area to make sure it remains so.

There were several options, but this trip did not allow me much time for sight-seeing.

“REALLY NICE”

Right on beach, everything is very clean and well taken care of. Had beautiful view. Very Quiet. This place is not new but as nice as any I have stayed in and staff was excellent. Only problem we had was lack of places to eat but had full kitchen in room. We will return

“I would go back”

“Nice stay!”

We stay there for a few nights and was very pleasant. We were received very cheerfully, the hotel is right on the beach, very quiet (no kids), clean room with a complete kitchen, view to the ocean. Recommended.

Area recommendations

John's Pass, just a few minutes fom the hotel, is awsome! There are retaurants and stores, and it is also the place where the boats that go to see the dolphins or go fishing depart from and all the activities happen.

“Marginal”

I booked this hotel knowing it's limitations, so we weren't dsappointed. Except for a horrendous clunking noise that to me sounded like a sump pump directly below us. Management passed it off as an unknown plumbing issue. Since you get what you pay for, I didn't argue. But if we had stayed more than a weekend, I would have demanded a refund. We truly needed ear plugs to get through the night. The good things are: 1) Expedia was the only booking service that allowed us to cancel. Everything else was a pay-in-advance-lose-if-you-cancel deal. Score for Expedia. 2) The adults only was HUGE. 3) The room directly on the Gulf was enormous. 4) Cleanliness was outrageouslt good, and 5) location was perfect. All that being said, this is still a very old, outdated motel, no matter what they call it. It is not a resort. For a getaway over a weekend, it was ok. But we would not do it again, and we would not recommend it to any of our friends. But because it was so very clean, and the people so nice, I can't rate it below average. There's a lot to say for people who work hard with limited resources. This place fell into that category. I just wish they would put the necessary money into turning it into the place it could be. As it is, it's a 70's motel on the noisy road in a good location.

“Adequate but no impressive.”

I was disappointed once we arrived. The room itself was clean and located on the beach. The Gulf View was not very good from the room they put us in. We were in the corner of the building so there was an obstructed view. The exterior of the building(s) are in need of much repair. Rotten wood and rusted metal everywhere. The key to our room didn't work properly. Had to make a couple of trips to the front desk, but they did have people on sight to take care of it. All in all I wouldn't stay here again.
