Cons: Old furnishings
Location: Location was good, but not for walking to a restaurant
The hotel is old and drab. It needs some serious furnishings. The sheets and bedspreads were about 20 years old, but everything was real clean. We didn't like the dogs all over the place. Our neighbors children ran around and slammed doors and yelled till midnight. Didn't get much sleep. The manager/owner was very helpful and polite, but his hotel is run down. We would not recommend this place to anyone. SORRY GET SOME DECENT SHEETS AND BEDSPREADS...............

Our weekend stay was awesome! I felt more like we were visiting family. The owners were very personal and friendly. They are retired actors and they decorated each room with a theme from a play they were once in. Our room was "Once upon a Mattress" themed after the story "The princess and the Pea". So of course we had a bed that was stacked high as well as the medieval atmosphere that a princess would have. I cant wait to go again and check out the other rooms. You can fish from the boat docks behind the rooms if you bring your gear. I loved it!!
