This happened in the late 60s. Beside this, there are many things to do here in Clearwater Beach. You will find everything in water sports, shopping, restaurants, entertainment, miniature golf and lazy moments at this long and beautiful beach. You can also rent everything from roller blades to luxurious yachts. This Island has EVERYTHING. Clearwater with its surroundings has countless golf courses too.

“Clearwater's Best Kept Secret”
Fabulous Innkeepers with warm hearts & a ready smile. Charming resort just across the street from Clearwater Beach. The beds were very comfortable & extra pillows & blankets in the closet were a bonus. Close to everything at a great price! Sunrise Resort is Clearwater's best kept secret!
“Nice for the Price”
We will consider staying there again. The staff is friendly and it is a short walk to the beach. The beds are hard which is fine for my wife, but for me it was uncomfortable. They offer the cabanas for free, but you have to bring them to the beach. Not really a bad trade off since the others cost about $20 to rent.
“Memorial Day Weekend at the beach”
Thank you for not having a minimum stay over the Memorial Day weekend. I was only in town for 3 days and wanted to return Clearwater Beach where I had spent so many years as a family on vacation. This is a great location and very nice people running the motel.
“Won't go back”
Room was very outdated and felt grimy. There was mold on bathroom walls and in the bathtub.
“Would NOT recommend.”
Have vacationed on Clearwater Beach since 1960. This facility is not even a 1 rating. Ceilings in room water stained with major crackes and indentation. Old TV on wheeled cart. Sink-into sofa. Very old and looks like things have not been replaced in years. Soap wrapper said Rodeway. The only thing that looked like the picture was the pool. You are instructed to put trash outside the door for collection. Not a santiary practice.
