“super 8”

This hotel was ok. It was very cheap and served its purpose, but it smelled pretty bad. like lysol and cigarettes(in my non smoking room). I am not very picky at all so I dealt with it just fine. If you are at all selective about where you stay I would not recommend it.

“SUPER 8 ROACH MOTEL!”

Our room, as well as the rooms on our floor were all infested with roaches!!! I had to kill atleast 25 of them, Huge and small, in the 6 days we spent there. ALL the pipes in the hotel are not sealed and they crawl out everywhere! the manager had an attitude with us while we called and complained for three days. He called the exterminator, and all that guy did was put about 10 traps around our tiny little room and put some poisen down. he did not treat any other room. They were going to put us in a different room, but what's the point? if one room has them, they ALL do! we wanted to move to a different hotel, but they refused to refund us any money! other than that, the pool is freezing and completely covered in shade after 1pm and isnt even close to the hotel, it is across the parking lot behind an ihop. not convient at all! continental breakfast was horrible. its only served until 9am, its cereal and muffins, and you cant take anything back to your room, you must eat it there?! i will NEVER EVER stay there again and do not reccomend it to anyone else!

“Not as bad as the reviews I had read...”

Well the hotel only had 1.5 star rating, so I wasn't expecting much to begin with. The hotel is a ways from the beach and we didn't have a car, so it was convenient that there was a bus stop really close to the hotel (just in front of Wendy's). Also, it was nice being able to walk to Walmart right across the street, so we were never in need of anything since Walmart has everything and it was so close. The negative reviews I read before the trip were mainly about uncleanliness. And that really was the only thing I found to not be great. There were some hairs in the tub, and me and my friend think we got athlete's foot from the bathroom....not so good, but at least we had walmart with the medicine... haha. I managed to fry the blow dryer, and when we told the staff, they got someone to replace it asap. We also asked them for a tub stopper, and they thought we said it was stopped up (the staff is like all indian) and they had a guy come in with plungers and everything else ready to take care of it, haha. We soon got the stopper, so all was well. The point is, they were quick to respond and help, and were very friendly. I think they deserve more than 1 1/2 stars for sure.

“Good Value”

Was hard to find a room at last minute during spring break, but this was a good value. The only problem was the lack of elevators since there wasn't a vacany on the first floor and I have trouble with stairs. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable, surprisingly quiet considering how close to busy US 19.

“Happy with Accommodations”

This hotel is very nice, close to the Phillies Complex which is what we wanted and also beside restaurant which was very convenient, within walking distance to shopping area and not too far to drive to other shopping centers. For the time of year and convenience to a lot of things, the price was a very good deal. There was an incident with several teenagers staying at hotel and starting getting loud around 1 am, the management handled the situation very well.

“No negative comments to offer, all are positive”

Prior to making my reservations, I read other reviews and almost declined this hotel but very glad I used my own initiative and stayed with this hotel, the room was clean, comfortable and the service was excellant and very accessible from the highway. In fact, I extended my stay one more night beyond my 6 night stay because I was well satisfied with this hotel and would recomend it to anyone, family, friend or foe.
