Better off somewhere else.

The hotel had no balcony at room. Not sure when it was updated last. Beds were not comfortable and NO amenities other than a heavily chlorinated pool.

NIce Room but bathroom was very dated. There was no maid service on the Saturday and Sunday (August 30th & 31st 2014) the dates we stayed. Parking is a real issue. They have guest 25 rooms but only 21 parking spaces. The hotel does not have a parking policy. It appears anyone can park there (the motel has a place for you to put your boat in the back on the bay side so some of the 21 spaces had boat trailers in one spot and their car in another). We did not have a place to park our car and there is no nearby street parking. Unless they change there policies would not stay again.

Close to beach but old. A/C never seemed to cool

Would not recommend. After all of the taxes and resort fees, hotel costs about $150 a night not a good deal for such an old hotel across the street from the beach.

Close to the beach

Pros: It had a kitchenette
Walls very thin: lots of noise. No staff on duty evenings/nights. Pool was closed.

Boutique Hotel close to beach

Posted Jul 28, 2014
A revamped "blast from the past" hotel, we thought this was a nice little place on the Gulf Rd. strip. If you are looking for a more casual, cozy stay rather than the large hotel chains, this is a nice alternative. Bring a hairdryer, though, unless you like that wispy beach look! Within walking distance to the beach and driving distance to many other beaches, hot spots and attractions along The Key and Bay areas. Kitchenette with microwave, frig and appliances, ample clothes storage and supply cabinets, comfy bed, backs up to marina with boat docks, patio area with BBQ, laundry room, deck in front with BBQ overlooking swimming pool.

The hotel was ok

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Two of the lamps did not have bulbs in them, there was not an iron or ironing board in the room. The bathroom did not have a fan so when you took a shower you nearly suffocate. The room was not the cleanest either. The only good part was that the staff. They extremely polite and courteous and willing to do anything to help.

Nice hotel within walking distance of the beach

Posted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Parking-more needed
Location: Within walking distance of the beach, shopping, and restaurants
This hotel was in a good spot just down from the beach. The staff was friendly and accomodating regardless of what the need was. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

Nice for a night

Posted Jun 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
My husband and I stayed after a friends wedding. We live 2 counties north and didn't want to drive home. The hotel reminded me of something from the fifties. No room in bathroom to put your own toiletries. Just a pedestal sink, toilet and shower and enough room for 1 person to stand in there. There was hair stuck in the bedside table. Bed very uncomfortable. Extreme backache next morning. Wouldn't stay again.

home-like motor lodge

Posted Jun 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is a motor lodge type hotel with your own external door. The furniture was very homelike and high quality wood (though old, it was in good condition). The kitchen included a small fridge, 2 cooker counter top stove, good size sink, and a full set of dishes and cookware. It had everything you would need to move in.
