Wonderful hotel. Gracious staff

We loved the Vinoy. It's a classically gorgeous hotel with a staff that goes out of its way to look after its guests.

A great place to stay to go to a Rays game

Posted May 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is a great hotel to stay at if you are going to a Rays game. The hotel offers shuttle service to and from the ballpark, and is close to lots of restaurants for after the game. Or, you can stay at the Vinoy and eat/drink at one of their several onsite establishments. The rooms are super clean with top notch beds/bedding. This is a great hotel for a weekend getaway. The only downside is that everything is a bit expensive, but you expect to pay more for top notch accommodations.

Comfortable

Posted May 6, 2014
Location: Night life is busy in down town St Pete. Art show in the park across the street. Museum next to the park. Very close to the beach-straight down 5th
The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful. The staff was casual and accommodating.

Pros: Great views of the marina from quiet room in newer tower. Helpful, friendly staff and efficient valet service.
Cons: Pool area was quite busy.
Location: Great waterfront location close to many restaurants and museums.
This is a great hotel for the price. It has an old fashioned, graceful air, great views of the marina, friendly staff and is close to to many great restaurants and museums.

A Good Hotel

Posted May 6, 2014
Pros: Location. Near the Marina and popular hangout spots downtown
Cons: Entertainment
Location: Everything from beaching, boating, dinning, golfing, and shopping
The hotel is in an awesome location. Walking distance to many shops, bars and dinning. The fitness center is awesome if you like working out, but the pool is not so cozy. The atmosphere is a little stiff and not decor is not warm and a little hard. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bathroom mirrors get fogged up because there is no exhaust fan in bathroom. Overall decent stay, but a little over priced for what is offered,

Nice Choice for St. Pete

It's an upscale Marriott in an old building. Location is good and breakfast is ok, if a bit overpriced. The Cuban eggs Benedict are delicious.

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience. We appreciate the feedback and were so glad to know that you loved the Cuban Eggs Benedict. Makes my mouth water just thinking about that delicious breakfast in our main dining room, Marchand's. Thanks for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back to the Vinoy soon!
