“Mice hotel at a good price”

Staff was very friendly. Older hotel but very clean and well kept. Could not have been more convenient to the beach. Good restaurants in walking distance. Did not use public transportation but there was a trolley available to St. Petersburg downtown and other beaches.

Fantastic location (ON the beach), clean and friendly, lively (Tiki beach bar and music during the day), close to restaurants (walk not drive) and shops, and reasonably priced.

We stayed in a second floor gulf view room (highly recommended), and it was beautiful watching the sun set fron our private balcony! We have recommended the Thunderbird Beach Resort to friends.

“Positive unexpected surprise”

We knew the hotel was a 3 star hotel, but were very positively surprised by the cleanliness of the room and grounds and how pleasant all the staff was. I would reccomend this to anyone wanting to have a good family location to stay

the thunderbird was very conveniently located, right on the beach and in walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The hotel is older, but was very clean and the staff was friendly and accomodating. Pool and hot tub also very clean. We would definitely recommend this place and would also go back

“Great hotel”

The staff in this hotel was extremely friendly. They went way out of their way to answer questions. The cleaning service for the room was just awesome. She was friendly and offered us what we needed. The room was extremely clean. Front desk held our food for us when we arrive five hours early. They also worked with the clean service to get us in the room a few hours earlier.

“Wonderful!”

This hotel was wonderful! The rooms were great. We stayed in a poolside suit with one queen size bed. It was very nice. The kitchenette was very useful. The pools were never too crowded and were clean. The only thing about the room I didn't like was there was a streetlight shining right into the window above the bed. Other than that, perfection.
