“Good Hotel, good price”

The travelodge in Clearwater was our choice for a 2night stay for my nephew's wedding. We picked it for price & locality. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smiling night desk clerk. Check-in was easy & fast. We were told about the free internet access & complimentary continental breakfast. Our room was comfortable & clean. We slept well & woke with a hot shower in a clean bathroom. We went down to try the cont.brkfst. and were pleasantly surprised. There were choices of cereals,bagels, juices & coffee,milk & teas. There was also an easy to use waffle maker. Overall quality was very good. The only negative we can think of was that the bagels were a little bland for us. Both mornings got us off to a good start. We used the internet for directions from google maps & to check our e-mails.The hotel was located close to the airport & the beach & our wedding destination. We got around without much of a problem at all. The staff at the hotel were most courteous & helpful. We made a good choice by choosing this Travelodge & recommend this as a nice hotel. (I would call it a 3 star hotel and rate it 4 1/2 out out 5 )

“Good basic and conveniently located hotel”

This was a good value motel close to main road but little disturbance by traffic noise. Free WiFi and Continental breakfast included.

“Very happy customer”

I was thrilled to have such a nice and clean room. I had a king sized bed, dresser, tv, desk, rolling leather chair, single chair with ottoman and clean bathroom. Bed was comfy with 3 pillows. Mapquest directions were a bit off. There is some construction going on in the area but it is not difficult to navigate. The hotel provides a continental breakfast--OJ, apple juice, oatmeal, waffles, toast, cereals, milk, coffee, bagels, cream cheese, butter, syrup, fresh fruit a yogurt. Such an awesome deal!!! The staff are friendly and kind.

Area recommendations

Clearwater beach is lovely. Go to their aquarium where Winter, the dolphin who lost her tail lives. It is a small aquarium but worth it for $15 admission.

“Well worth what we paid”

Hotel was claen,and located in a perfect for our plans. Room was comfy,clean and better then advertised. The hotel staff were very easy to deal with and extremely courteous.I would highly recommend this as a place to get your moneys worth and enjoy.

Clearwater/Largo area.Plenty to see and do,with this hotel being located between the two you are never far from any activity.
