very nice hotel for the price

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: How close everything was and the beach across the street.
Location: beach, stores, bars
I was at this hotel for a week and enjoyed it. The view I received is exactly what I asked for, and it was on the marina side. My friend had the ocean side but it is across the street. It was very close and convent to stores, restaurants and bars, and is at a walkable distance.

Loved it

Pros: Location and price
Cons: Nothing, everything was great
Location: Across the street from the beach, walking distance to restaurants, bars, stores, and Publix :)
My friend and I came to treasure island for a 2 night beach weekend on a budget. This hotel had very reasonable rates and is right across the street from the beach, less than a 5 minute walk. At check-in, the front desk employee recommended a few places for dinner which was great because we had never been here. Staff was very friendly and rooms were very clean and hotel is centrally located so we didn't have to drive anywhere.

Excellent hotel + location, bad customer service

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: The room was very acceptable, beds comfortable, good shower, clean bathroom, good flat screen TV.L.
Cons: The reception clerks. They could use some friendly faces to greet you.
Location: Across from the beach but you've got to walk a long distance til you get to the ocean shore. Restaurants and grocery store nearby.
The hotel room is very clean and comfi. The location is great and we stayed two times. We were given both times facing the marina on the back of the hotel. Very quite and pleasant. What ruins the whole experience is some rude members of the staff and the stupid rules of the hotel that were changed since the first time we were there. They changed not only the check-out time from 12 pm to 11 am but the check-in time too from 3 to 4 pm if I am correct. So, not only you loose one hour of stay in the hotel cause they quick you out earlier but you have access to your room later than before. That all because of, according to the rude clerk in the evening shift when we were staying there, some guests say they will stay 15-20 minutes and end up staying a little longer. First time, we politely asked to leave a little late, were said a time and obeyed it. I understand that if you are fully booked, you need the room but when the parking lot was empty for the 3 days we were there, therefore, they were NOT fully booked, I don't see why to not be a little permissive. Well, according to them, no chance. And to make it better, you have to pay $ 10 for each hour you check-out later than 11 am. Pathetic ! If that seems worth to loose customers for, you just lost one....Never coming back...

Save your money and go elsewhere.

For the amount you pay the service isn't worth it. We couldn't even get something as simple as one extra pillow or even clean towels!! We sucked it up because it was our anniversary but we will just go to a holiday inn express next time and get way better service for cheaper.

Location is great - Eats, Shopping & BEACH

Pros: The staff was very helpful and full of suggestions for us The pool GREAT, room QUIET, view wonderful on the Marina. Nice Marina Restaurant.
Cons: Maybe towels in the Kitchenette. A blanket or two.
Location: Centrally located between St. Pete. and Clearwater. Must go to the Aquarium, Passe Grille, fishing charters, Johns Pass, and wonderful Restaurants.
Family came to see mom & dad. The location is close to Clearwater & St. Pete. We really enjoyed John's Pass and all it had to offer. The beach was so very clean and very child friendly.

Wonderful hotel close to beach

Hotel staff here is above and beyond excellent! The room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I would complain about is that the description online said water view, the only water on one side was the swimming pool and on the backside was a small intercoastal. The ocean was actually across the street.

Disappointed in Treasure Island.

Pros: The bay view was nice.
Cons: Cleaner rooms. Better fitness equipment.
Location: Convenient locale to the beach, restaurants and shopping.
The fitness equipment needs repair. The housekeepers made the beds and dumped the trash; nothing more. They weren't very friendly either.

Top notch!

Pros: The room was amazing. Updated and very luxurious.
Cons: Nothing
Location: John's pass. Next door there is a jet ski rental, Dolphin Marine Rental.
Excellent location, staff, and stay. The beach is just across the street. There is a small pool for those who don't like sand between their toes. A great deck to sip a beer or coffee. We had no issues with parking. Additionally, there is a waffle house next door, to accommodate any meal or you can make the short drive to John's Pass. John's pass offers an assortment of restaurants.
