Very PleasedPosted Mar 6, 2014
Very nice small, 3 story, hotel with view of the ocean. If you don't mind crossing the street to get to the beach, you will love this place. Nothing fancy but recently updated, very clean, and friendly staff. Washer/dryer on site with laundry products supplied by the hotel. 2nd story deck with tables/umbrellas, and chairs that overlook the beach/sunsets. Free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, 24/7. Conveniently located and within walking distance to beach, dining, shopping, and sight seeing. We parked our car when we checked in and never moved it until we checked out. Waffle House next door, and a wonderful ice cream shop on the other side of hotel. Would highly recommend Middle Grounds Grill, just 1/2 block away. Upscale bar with nightly early bird specials and drinks. Excellent food! If you get a room on the backside of the hotel you have a wonderful view of water, docks, and a marina. Each room has a balcony with 2 chairs.

Close to everythingPosted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Clean room, close to everything. Staff was generally was attentive and cheerful.
Cons: Heavier blankets or a comforter.
Location: The Gulf is across the street from the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and shopping plus a Publix down the street.
The hotel was across the Gulf and we had a Gulf view as promised. The room was clean. We have not stayed in a hotel room lately without a comforter. The temperature of the room was controlled by us and we asked for extra blankets which arrived shortly after our call. Pool was clean and there was always coffee on the 2nd floor (plus tea or hot chocolate). Our overall opinion of this hotel was that it was clean, close to the beach and restaurants so it was perfect for our stay.

Very nice small hotelPosted Mar 2, 2014
The hotel was across the street from the beach. It had a nice pool and whirlpool area, but could usa a few more chaises around the pool. There was no restaurant or bar in the hotel but many within easy walking. There was free coffee and free wifi. There was a workout room that could use a new elliptical machine but was OK. The room and bathroom were very modern and extermely clean and the beds were comfortable. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. We will stay here again.

Quick OvernightPosted Mar 1, 2014
Pros: Location - right across the street from the beach.
Cons: Rooms need to be updated as including the air conditioning.
Location: Treasure Island
This is not a "bad" hotel, but the room was tired. The air conditioning was really strange and not easy to adjust. I called from Tampa Airport to get directions and the phone just rang and rang - no answer which was strange.

Nice location, Close to most amenities.Posted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: Basically only the location.
Cons: Provide what you booked for and don't make lame excuses.
Location: Close to the gulf and restaurants.
Very disappointed in my room location and type of room. Paid big bucks, booked well in advance and received a confirmation on the sea view room with a king sized bed. Upon check in I ended up with a rear room looking at a canal with two beds. No information in the room about their amenities, Wi-Fi , television channel lineup or what else they may provide. Not even a telephone book in the room.

No sleepPosted Feb 18, 2014
I only have a couple of negative things to say about my stay but considering I only stayed one night, they had a huge impact. Worst of all was the bed. The bed was totally uncomfortable and the two small pillows on the king size bed were hard as a rock (not literally). There was no comforter on the bed. There were no extra pillows. Neither me nor my partner were able to sleep so I know it wasn't just my opinion alone. The hotel was clean. However, only staying one night; I was mainly only there to sleep so paying over $150 and not sleeping was very disappointing. The second thing is small but annoying. Two showers were taken and the "shower curtain" was a joke. I think they were missing the shower liner. Water covered the bathroom. The small very rough towels were mostly utilized to sop up the wet floor. My first thought upon entering was that it was a beautiful room . The ocean view was not an ocean view but a view of the canal. The bed looked great but was a huge disappointment. My back is still unhappy and that was two nights ago. Glad I only booked one night. I will not be back. I would rather pay less to not have a suite but have a bed, comforter, and pillows worthy of a good night's sleep.

Nice hotel near beaches.Posted Feb 16, 2014
Pros: The hotel was clean, staff was friendly. A beach was across the street from hotel and a marina was on the back side which was relaxing.
We stayed for 3 nights and really liked the location which was in the central area of a lot of beaches.
