Staff always very polite and helpful. Room was clean, but felt bathroom could have been cleaner. Hair (not mine) on the floor. That was really my only issue.

This is a wonderful hotel !We had a warm welcome. Everyone was kind and very helpful.

We got there at 12:30 and the attendant made it sound as though they would get our room ready shortly and would give us a call, so we hung out around the hotel. The room wasn't ready until 4pm. If we had known, we'd probably have done something else instead of waited around. Also, 4pm check-in is really too late and although they make it clear that's the official check-in time, I have rarely had to wait to check in at a hotel when I got there before check in time and certainly not 3-1/2 hours. Otherwise, the tower room with a view of the bay was lovely, food is good and they have a great gym. Also, while the hotel was in a pretty central location, I thought St. Petersburg was generally pretty lame.

Did not like the fact that nothing was included. Not parking not WiFi not breakfast nothing!!

This is one beaultiful facility. Very gracious staff, gorgeous spaces, wonderful location to great restaurants, Tampa Bay views and easy self-parking.

The Vinoy has become my first choice for my annual trips to the Tampa area. Great rooms and amenities (I had one of the best manicures/pedicures ever at the spa), friendly and helpful staff, and perfect location on the bay within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Great location. Most parts of the hotel have been updated. The rooms were spacious and clean. the furniture was alittle banged up and tired looking . The didnig room chairs were stained and pretty banged up .The SPA is very much in need of an update and is extremly small. The workout faciites is also small but GREAT equipment. The food was good but overpriced. The staff was mixed bag . Check in was not much fun as 2peiopl on staff at 11:30 and while Iwas the only one chekcing in it seemd ther were boht busy and not very happy to help me . NO "welcome to the Vinoy " etc. We had wonderful service in the dining rooms and for room serviece and the valets. Overall I would stay again if hte price was right . I rate this hotel as 3.75 Stars Overal I thtought it was overpriced for the shape of the hotel and cost of the food.

A real treat - a first class hotel - great service and historical interest. Expensive but unique for an occasional indulgence. Great location.
