Ok hotel

This is an ok hotel- nothing really to complain about except the rooms are seriously outdated. Breakfast was ok/ not a lot of choices but enough to find something for everyone.

Pleasant helpful staff, great beds, clean.

Posted Apr 15, 2015
My husband and I both caught the stomach flu, so needless to say, we spent a lot of time sleeping. The room was so comfortable, the king bed a pleasure to climb into. There is no restaurant on site, but continental breakfast is available free of charge. The pool on site is also clean, and there are washers and dryers on the first floor.

Amazing Staff - hotel not in great condition

Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: staff
Cons: update the rooms
Location: many nearby restaurants, muvico theatre is across the street, and 2 minutes from innisbrook golf course.
Stayed for 4 nights. The first night our room had the most horrible unbearable smell. Unfortunately the hotel was sold out so the front desk brought us some dryer sheets to put into the a/c to diffuse the smell and moved us into a new room the next day. We were very happy with the next room, there was no smell. However, one side of the bed's box spring must have been broken, because it took all we had to stay in the bed without falling out. we never complain, and I felt bad about complaining about the first rooms smell - so we just lived with the one side of the bed being painfully uncomfortable. must say, the bed in the first room and the other side of the this bed were extremely comfortable. the cleaning staff did amazing job, they left many towel sculptures throughout our room, which my daughter enjoyed. we really appreciated the staff there and their efforts, probably would never go back until we learn the updates have been completed.

The hotel is very basic.

We asked for a late check out and paid extra for it. We went to the beach but our 17 year old son stayed to sleep in. At regular check out time the staff told him he had to get out. He tried to explain that we paid extra and arranged for a late check out. They told him they were going to call the police. He called us and we came straight back. We grabbed our receipt and showed the front desk. Instead of them apologizing for their mistake they asked why our son didn't bring the receipt with him. My husband told them that it is not his responsibility. They made the mistake and they should have had it in their system. Instead of apologizing they kept trying to put it on us. The staff was very rude and unprofessional towards our son except for the cleaning lady who was very kind.

A big balcony overlooking a restful view

Posted Apr 6, 2015
On US 19 there are a zillion hotels but now none have a balcony overlooking a lovely canal and park setting . This one does! A large room and comfy beds , clean and bright ! Over the past ten years I have found this hotel to offer the best place to stay in this area . Lovely pool area also . It's quiet when you close the door and the staff do their best to help you. My choice year after year !

Hotel

Pros: The staff. The lobby and breakfast areas were fine.
Cons: Checking guest rooms for proper furniture and fixing the Internet issue in the far rooms. Also would be nice ti have a TV guide of some sort
Location: The location was fine.
We were staying there to attend a funeral nearby. When we got to our room both chairs there were deplorable. One must have been from the little porch as it was badly weathered. The other one was terribly stained! The rest of the room was fine. Very basic but worked for us. Also, the room that we were in 227 did not get internet. We had to go to the lobby. Our cell phones took hours to get a signal also. The staff couldnt have been more helpful and friendly.
