Great location in the downtown area. Staff friendliness and helpfulness could not be better. We enjoyed our stay. Upgrades suggestions would be to have an ice machine available for the guests.

Weekend getaway
We stsyed here for a weekend getaway. The Inn was beautiful and so cosy. The bed in the KeyWest room was very comfortable. The only recommendation that I had was the continental breakfast could have been a bit better for the price. Otherwise it was a great stay.

The pictures on your site need to be updated. The current decor under new ownership is no where near that of the previous owners. I was shocked at how basic the furnishings were in comparison! The street appeal was not enticing. The property has such potential but currently it needs a lot of TLC!

Definitely not ready for prime time
Very much a budget-style hotel, with primo prices. Very disappointing, as not at all as advertised. Definitely unsuitable for business travel. Bathroom and shower is the tiniest I have ever seen (and I am from the UK!) No shelf or space for toiletries and the tile in mine was actually hanging off the wall. There is no business center, much less the 24-hour service advertised. The WiFi is very weak. The advertised "full breakfast" is a make-your-own coffee station and some packets of cereal (but no milk) and white bread for self-toasting, but this is only available for an hour. There was no cleaning service at all when I was there, and the staff member was only around for a couple of hours during the day, with no one there at night, which is disconcerting if you are coming in late. The bed was comfortable, but way too large for the tiny room, so that there was no room for bedside tables, and anything you might want to keep near you at night - glasses, water, phones, etc -- had to go on the floor.. Was told that it changed hands three months ago, and the new owner was in the process of renovating, but they seem to be doing it themselves and/or on a tight budget, and it's definitely not ready for business. Best thing about it is the location.

Booked a room with a jetted tub there was NO tub. Air system terrible, outside of room. After first night figured it out after freezing. Keys given to lock door did not work. Breakfast substandard. Place could be very beautiful but seems to have been neglected for a few years. Location is perfect. Innkeeper girl tried to help but saw no management resolve to issues. Do not typically leave reviews but buyer beware of this one

Was completly taken over by this B&B. It was absolutyl beautiful. Nestled in a lovely garden setting but yet directly accross from the park and right next to our faverit restaurant, 400 beach seafoot. Our room was very nice with a added sitting room. This allowed my wife to watch tv while i slept in. Breakfast was a dinning delight served by the inn keeper. My only cautions to future guests is all the rooms (only 6) are all on the second floor which require climbing a flight of stairs, there is no elevator. And the room had no closet or ability to hang up clothes. I would highly recommend a stay at this B&B. We will be back

Saint Petersburg gem.
50 yards from 400 beach restaurant. Fantastic food, drinks, service and price. 75 yards from Marina and waterfront walk. Great breakfast, quiet historic home. I will never stay anywhere but here when I'm in Saint Petersburg.

I was disappointed that it was not a true B&B . In the past B&B we stayed in had period furniture for the age of the house and the owners were very proud of that. The room we stayed in had a white cabinet (formica) to put your clothes in. Nails sticking out of the "wet bar" ..... Not very clean. We did not eat breakfast there but I did see muffins etc. in a pre-packaged pack. (not home made) Basically we paid for the location and parking which was great.

The property is very authentic and quaint however the shower dripped all night, the front room was too close to street noise, There was no oneto greet us when we got there. Our key was in an envelope with a welcome letter. We never saw a soul until breakfast. The frittata was luke warm and the variety of breakfast foods was less than in a regular motel. I was expecting more for the money. It was in a prime location close to everything.

Thank you for the review on your one night stay. What time did you arrive? Many B&B’s do not even offer a Continental with a hot breakfast. We have repaired the leaking shower head. As we are convenient to everything in a city environment you are going to experience street noise as well.

We were very pleased with out accommodation which was very comfortable. The location was only yards from local restaurants and pubs and close to some wonderful waterside walks

Very much enjoyed our stay. Beach drive Inn was everything we wanted. The room was immaculate, the location was near everything in St Pete Beach and the host was Very personable. My wife and I had a great time in St. Pete!

It was a very charming bed and breakfast. It was right on the water and a 5-10 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants. No car needed to stay here! I also loved the way they had it set up for Christmas with the tree in the living room, the lights, etc. I really enjoyed my breakfast that was made just for me. I felt right at home, and so cozy!

Great location!
We stayed 3 days. The location was fantastic. It was within walking distance from practically everything. The innkeeper Heather gave us some great tips and information regarding the trolley we could ride for just .50 per person which we could hop on just down from the Inn. The innkeepers were also accommodating by putting snacks and wine out as early as 3pm when they would be out. It was nice to have a small refrigerator in the hall to share with others to keep leftovers or drinks cold if needed. The outside needs some updating but the inside is a comfortable old home. We enjoyed our stay.

Not in good shape for the price. Although close to the downtown action it was not the quality of the surrounding hotels and their amenities. Overall disappointed for the time spent in the Bed and Breakfast.

Thank you. We have a Universal Remote Control for TV's and every room is different in a Bed and Breakfast and this home was built in 1910 and every room does have a bathroom. When booking through an online travel agency you are not able to choose the room and is booked on the class of the room.

Honeymoon in the Sunshine Room
Honeymoon trip for a few nights. Breakfast was wonderful with a variety of fresh fruit and pastries. As well as a hot entree. The room was very comfortable. The only downsides were the bed was very tall (a step stool was provided on one side) and the bathroom/ shower were small. For once, I was glad to be petite. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great location!!!! Quaint bed and breakfast.
The location of this bed and breakfast is unbeatable for the area! Lot of shops, restaurants, scenic walks, etc. around. It is in a VERY good location. The bed and breakfast itself was quaint and very relaxing. It is old, so did smell like moth balls the whole stay, but you get used to it. The owner was very nice and the breakfast was great. I would stay here again if I am in the area.

Fantastic location. Walking distance to everything
Overall the room was clean and the innkeeper did a decent job. Our room was a terrible layout with a tub shower in the room at the foot of the bed and a tiny tiny bathroom that was impossible to sit on other than sideways. Repairs and maintenance are definitely done on the cheap. I looked at a couple of the other rooms and they were better, but everything definitely needs a professional upgrade. If you stay, just ask for one of the rooms without the shower in the room.

Quaint & Comfortable B&B, great downtown location
My husband and I really enjoyed our 1 night stay on New Year’s Day night. The gentlemen running the B&B were super hospitable, the breakfast was very nice and our room was very cozy and comfortable. After traveling for many days, we really enjoyed relaxing in our room for several hours as the weather wasn’t the greatest. Felt like we were home. The location was perfect for walking around the bustling downtown area.

Hotel had a great location very close to the beach and within walking distance to very nice restaurants and numerous gift shops. Hotel staff was awesome and went above and beyond in customer service. The room was disappointing because of the condition. There was noticeable dirt on the ceiling around the a/c vent and the wall a/c unit did not work and there were no controls in room for the a/c. Bed was not comfortable. Bathroom was real small. Lacked charm we thought.

Very quiet and lovely home. Comfy!
Great place to go to get away from the big crowds and chaos, but literally one crosswalk away from all of the great places in downtown St. Pete. Extremely comfortable room and bed with super soft sheets for a great sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised and will return.

The staff were great, very helpful and friendly (even offering to make us extra food for breakfast.) Our room was big enough for the two of us and the bed was very nice and comfy. Free water and cookies on the front desk was a big plus too! Would stay there again.
