Location is good. The room is new and clean. Hotel staff at reception desk is friendly and helpful. However, staffs in the restaurant is cold and a bit undisciplined.

Pros: staff
Cons: Entrance of building
I was disappointed when i saw the entrance of hotel but room was ok. Already most of the hotels in city center like this. But room was ok and staff was so helpful.

Very centric. great value for the money

Pros: Very good price
Cons: had some problems with the wifi speed. hope they fix it soon.
Location: as centric as it gets, perhaps a bit too much.
Entrance is not promising, but inside it is fine. Rooms are very big. Good heating and very comfortable. My room was on Moskovsky so it was a bit noisy but not too bad.

Just the job for me

Posted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: The staff at this hotel are very friendly and speak good English and the location is perfect with the Metro station just around the corner.
Cons: I'm not really a lover of "memory foam" mattresses on beds, I find them too warm but that is just nit-picking :-)
Location: Kazan cathedral is about 15 minutes walk away and there is a good shopping mall near the metro station.
I was looking for a "no thrills" hotel as a base for this trip to St Petersburg. I previously stayed at a very nice hotel on Kazanskaya street, but it was too expensive this time around, so I decided to book the Allegro because of the low price and its excellent location, close to Sennaya Ploshchad. I decided to take any negative comments about this hotel with a pinch of salt, and I was glad I did because it was perfect for me with a nice clean room and modern bathroom. The continental breakfast is good enough with cornflakes, muesli and porridge which you can heat yourself in the microwave. Also, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cooked meat, cheese and boiled eggs are available along with breads that you can toast if you wish and eat with jam. It's more than I eat at home and the generous 8am - 11am window means you don't have to rush :-)

Location: Hotel area is very good, close to metro and near to Nevsky Prospekt.
Hotel is in heart of st. Petersburg. All time was very good to spend time in hotel. Staff, very kind and helpful. Food, really fresh and nice. Very good connection WiFi and cleaning room everyday. I'm really enjoyed time in this hotel and if next time I will be in Russia I'm sure I'm ill back exactly to the same place, good place, nice staff and very good atmosphere. Quiet nights and I used laundry too...everything was very good.
