Amazing location & wonderful hotel

Posted Jul 9, 2014
I would stay there again. I LOVED the bed. So comfortable! The hotel staff was very helpful and welcoming. Only two very small details. Get info on where the hotel is located before you leave as it wasn't on my Expedia confirmation email. Also, Internet access is included. It works fine but the connection was weak in my room. No issues in the common area.

Great location, comfortable room

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: Comfort, friendly staff, clean
Cons: Fridge in room
Location: Location is set back from Nevsky Prospect and within walking distance from the Moscow train station and the main sites plus near loads of restaurants
Very friendly hotel that was perfect for our needs. Very helpful team at the front desk, extremely comfortable bedroom and nice touch that can have coffee, tea, water all day. At breakfast, space was a little cramped, but the food was nice and a good start to the day. Ideally we would have liked a fridge in our room but all in all, very good and would not hesitate to recommend.

Nevsky Contour Hotel

Posted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: Excellent receptionists 24/7. Bathroom was exceptionally good for this type of hotel.
Cons: Directions from the street to the Hotel, saying Nevsky Contour rather than Annabelle, the parent hotel, and directions on the website
Location: A quiet location just off the (very) noisy Nevsky Prospect; a 50p bus ride to the Hermitage and all the city centre tourist spots
We were looking for a reasonable hotel for a couple of nights after a trip across Russia by boat, train and plane. Our Taxi driver had to ring the hotel for instructions on how to find the hotel (details on the website would be useful), but apart from that the hotel was very good. Easy bus and tram links to the City Centre on the Nevsky prospect nearby. Superb receptionists with very good English and very helpful, particularly when my credit cards were stolen on the bus. Standard room was small but adequate, despite our sizeable luggage, and very good bathroom. Breakfast was simple but adequate, and free coffee/tea at any time was a bonus. D├ęcor and finish of hotel much better than anticipated once you were past the entrance off the stairwell

Great Location!

Pros: Location
Better than expected; reasonable breakfast. Mostly free from the noise of Nevsky Prospekt, but beware of the local tomcats in heat!

A hidden gem!

Posted Feb 24, 2014
Location: Must do, Nevsky Prospect - Church on the spilled blood - Hermitage - St Isaacs cathedral. Worth a visit, Peter and Paul fortress, the river bank walk
In a courtyard just off the main street, this hotel is central for all the main attractions. Not the easiest to find (follow the signs to Anabel hotels and go up to the third floor) it is worth the effort! Very cosy and clean with friendly staff. Breakfast is basic but fresh, tasty and there is plenty of it. Free tea and coffee is a lovely bonus. Would thoroughly recommend for a short break to this lovely city.

Ok for short stay

Posted Jan 21, 2014
Pros: Hotel staff, very kind.
Cons: Wrote above.
Location: Located at very convenient place to move.
The standard room is large enough and had a confortable bed. The hotel doesn't have any signboad from the main avenue, foreigners can easily get lost. The room doesn't have good isolation (door/wall) noises can go through into your room.
