“Excellent hotel, great location”

After a less-than-perfect experience at another hotel in SPb, this was a good experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, quiet at night, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good. The location was excellent - 10 minute bus journey from/to Pulkovo airport, 10 minute walk to Moskovskaya Metro then a 15 minute metro journey to the centre of SPb. Will definitely stay there again. Only downside: if you stay in a Standard room, you don't get free access to the swimming pool.

“"Great Location"”

...This hotel is in a great location, halfway between downtown (close to the Metro) and the airport. There is a very nice park and grocery within a 2 minute walk. The spa and fitness offer a good place for excerise and re-vitalizing the body and soul. The hotel bar area does allow smoking that can be annoying for those who do not smoke. The hotels offers a free shuttle to downtown...but the frequency is low. This was our second stay at this hotel and we plan on returing in the upcoming years. Regards... Jim and Olga

“will use again”

Rooms very clean and comfortable,with friendly,helpfull staff with a good many speaking english.Enjoyed my stay and will stay here again although maybe not for everyone as not near the centre of the city.Food also very good with an excellent Beer resturant in the Hotel.

“Quiet hotel with close locations to the airport and metro”

Clean hotel with almost all the needs for an American turist, all was GREAT but the lack of cool air in our room made our stay almost wonderful, the staff was above my expectations, the breakfast had enough choices to make it fun, the location 'GREAT' close to metro and far enough from the noise of downtown, only 15 minutes by metro to get to Nevsky Prospect, if you like sushi this hotel has about 8 sushi bars within 5 minutes walking; i would stay here again.

“Good as airport hotel only”

This sprawling hotel has multiple buildings, so you could end up (as we did) about a 10 minute walk away from the front desk. The rooms were sparse and moderately well kept. The location is far from the city center, but a 10 minute ride from the airport. We stayed there the night before our flight after returning from Moscow, and was good for the purposes of being close to the airport (St Petersburg traffic can be terrible). Would not recommend staying here for any other length of time.

“short business trip”

I would recommend to stay in this hotel only if your business meetings near by. The nearest subway (metro) station is about 10 minutes walk plus another 20 minutes by metro to the center of St. Petersburg. Nothing to see/visit around the hotel and few restaurants choices.

“Brody”

A decent hotel, but the soviet architecture still shows through. There was no hot water, and not much water pressure. The proximity to the metro was nice, as it was straight forward to get to other areas of the city. Most of the staff spoke reasonable english. The hotel was overall comfortable, but a little worn down.

“Not a bad place overall, but rooms are hot and you only get one, stupid, heavy quilt for the bed.”

Aside from the poor sleeping arrangements, the hotel is not bad, clean and modern - 1960ish style. Breakfast is superb! People are very friendly.

“convenient hotel for the airport”

This is a huge block of a hotel on one of St. Petersburg's main streets, Nevsky Prospekt. It is less than 10 minutes to the airport by cab during good traffic conditions and about the same to the city center. The lobby was bustling with people and a restaurant pub is also part of this hotel. The hotel has a more modern feel. Though the city center has more charming hotel options, I would always consider this hotel for another night due to its proximity to the airport.
