“A likable business hotel”

I spent 6 nights at this hotel in November of 2011. The place is clean and well kept. Quite pleasant overall. If possible avoid their Concierge service: they add almost a 100% markup on anything you ask for. The food at the restaurant is decent though the menu is a tad limited. For a better selection and more fun visit the "Russian Kitch" restaurant located on a parallel street (6 Linija at Universitetskiy Quay).

“The niciest hotel in St. Petersburg”

I often go to St. Petersburg for a long weekend as my son loves the city. If you come to the city for leisure, this hotel is the best I've ever stayed at in St. Petersburg. The location is not that bad - it will take you 20 minutes walk to get to the Mariinsky theatre (30 to the Hermitage, but just 5-10 to the Kunstkamera), and when you are on vacation you are not in a hurry - you walk and enjoy the city. The hotel itself is very new and unlike many other hotels in St. Pete was built and is operated by western standards, not "post-soviet" ones developed by local hotel managers. The food at the hotel is good, there's even a beer bar with a huge screen, so you won't miss a hockey or a football match. To dine out you'll need to either take a 20-30 minutes walk or a ride on metro (1 station away from Nevsky).

“A Great Value in St. Petersburg”

I would definitely go back to this hotel. It is clean, has all the amenities (including a nice restaurant, bar, fitness center, sauna suite) and it is within walking distance of all the key sites. Service is good, although not superior. The price makes it a great value.

Area recommendations

Wonderful city. Reports of crime are exaggerated--just watch your surroundings as you would in any big city.

“Good location great beds”

This hotel is located at walking distance from St.Petersbourg downtown. Beds are really comfortable (the best sleep in our trip). Service is ok. The hotel has a restaurant and a pub where you can hang around. Great value for price.

Must see

Church of spilled blood was our favorite in town. Also be sure to plan a day trip to Peterhoff and Kathrine's Palace in Pushkin if you have the time spend a day in each of them specially during summer when you can wander around the gardens and towns for a while. Peterhoff town has a lovely church to visit.

“Would recommend to anyone looking for good values.”

The hotel was cozy, quiet and convinient, located near the metro, stores and eating places. The superior room has an ample bathroom with a bath tub and everything was meticulously cleaned and very comfortable. We enjoyed the room amenity as well as tea, hot chocolate and coffee in the room. The information desk promptly assisted us in every need from pre-trip visa documentation to city taxi arrangements. Everybody spoke English fluently and the service was excellent. The hote restaurant was elegant and the cuisine was superb.

Must see

There is too much to see the city in just a few days, but if you organize your itinerary well in advance and use every means of transportation from walking to taxi, the city is a gem for any traveler.

“Great hotel, highly recommend”

Stylish, comfortable hotel a short walk from the big sights in St. Petersburg, 10 minute walk to the subway, and very close to the Kunstkammer and a nice pedestrian mall with cafes and restaurants.

“Lux Hotel at a Reasonable Price”

Although it's a walk to the city center, the metro is always an option. The hotel itself was extremely clean, well-kept and renovations were underway on the fitness center. The room itself was beautiful with plush bedding, wood floors and great lighting. The restaurant/bar area was well designed as well and the staff were all very kind and helpful -particularly the concierge. I have absolutely no complaints and definitely go back again. Comfortable and a great value.

For inexpensive snacks, the pancakes/crepes shops are great and can be found in almost any busy area.

“Best deal in St. Petersburg”

Location so good you save on transportation, even though surrounding neighborhood is not too active. Also close to Metro Station in Bulevar, bridges over Neva, and docking ports of tour boats. Personnel and attention are outstanding, they do care and help in all matters requested. Hotel a bit out of the way, but certainly quiet and not too busy. Rooms very well equipped, state of the art in appliances, wonderful and cozy beds. Toilett well laid out, and impecable in its maintenance. Restaurant well priced for a very good cuisine, and Bar well stocked and tended for, with nice live music in the evenings.

Area recommendations

Winter Palace and surroundng areas, Russian Museum, Peter and Paul Fortress, St. Isaac Cathedral, and a leiura walk along canals in central area.

Traveler's tip

Learn to take Metro and Buses, great savings and no problem because of very friendly people that help a lot and speaks english.
