A beautiful farm house hotel with gardens of roses, olive groves, vegetables. A creative artist, a chef who makes a wonderful brunch daily, an entertaining individual, all in one is your host. A wonderful experience outside the bustle near Les Baux-de-Provence and St Rémy.

The art of life
Total privacy and relaxation - and a very wonderful breakfast, with extraordinary homemade jams and preserves. The garden itself is pure art, the like of which you rarely see.

Great little B & B just outside of St. Remy.
Overall good experience. Great quiet location. Hard to find the first time, especially without a GPS. We really liked the quiet, romantic ambiance of the room, but the mattress was a little old and not that comfortable. The bathroom had an old fashion claw foot tub, which was really cool looking, but it was very difficult to shower in and wash your hair without getting water everywhere. The grounds were very pretty with lots of flowers and the pool was sparkling clean. The breakfast had lots of homemade jams and vegetables and was very unique, but I'm not sure it was worth 15 Euros per person because it wasn't very filling unless you eat lots of bread and croissant. It needs some protein like sausage or bacon. Overall, we liked the central location in the Provence area because it was easy to take day trips. The general feeling of Mas de Figues is relaxing and quiet, which was very nice for my husband and I.

A tranquil stay in Provence
We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the beautiful Mas Figues! Our room was excellent and the grounds filled with roses, and olive trees provided a very tranquil setting. Breakfast is exceptional with Phillipe's homemade products from his garden.

Totally unique hotel experience, Chambre d'hôte actually, worth staying here for the breakfast alone. Much home-grown and produced food, croissants to die for, brilliant preserves, every kind of stewed fruit. Very pleasant outdoor pool in a charming garden setting, all cooked, prepared and delivered by the very genial host, an artist and sculptor, whose work is in evidence around the grounds. During six months of the year the place is closed for maintenance and so he can concentrate on his art work, so be quick! In a very historic area, the Roman city of Glanum is nearby, and with strong connections to Van Gogh.

Pleasant accomodation
Mas des Figues is a pleasant 4-room "mas" about 3-4 km from St. Remy. The owners are lovely and accommodating. My room was very comfortable, and everything worked. You need a car or some way to "run into town". Lovely pool and landscaping. A nice place to "get away from it all".

Unique setting in the center of Provence
Excellent. Hosts very accommodating while also unobtrusive. Petit dejeuner somewhat pricey, but otherwise a very pleasant place to hang out while not touring the beautiful sites around St-Remy-de-Provence.

loving provence
mas de figues was a wonderful oasis in provence. the proprietor and family were warm welcoming and great cooks. also took the time to give suggestions of restaurants, etc. everything served at breakfast was home made from their garden,etc.. even the olive oil.. the room was beautifully decorated and things worked- like the air conditioning, the wifi etc. well maintaied ,, surrounded by beautiful gardens - white roses really impressed me - the fragrance in the air was a lovely touch of nature. i highly recommend.

The croissants are divine!
Mas des Figues was a wonderful place to stay and explore the St. Remy area of Provence. Philippe's homemade croissants were divine each morning! Philippe also was very helpful in planning our daily sightseeing trips. He made sure we all knew when market day was in St. Remy. What a great market it was! Mas des Figues is a very quiet location, a little hard to find. We ended up calling Philippe when we could not find it, and he was happy to come and lead us there. It is located about 3.5 km from St. Remy so you really do need a car to go into town. Oh and Philippe serves his homemade jams with his croissants. Yum!!!

La situation du mas est parfaite si vous recherchez la nature et le calme, la chambre est spacieuse et confortable. Nous n'avons pas aimé le petit déjeuner qui débute qu'à 8h30 et son prix à 17 € ce qui reste cher pour un gîte ou pour prendre un simple petit déjeuner classique. De plus, il n'y a qu'une seule grande table et nous aimons bien notre tranquillité le matin. Pour ces deux raisons nous avons quitté le mas vers 8h00 et nous n'y retournerons pas.

Bonjour. Lire votre commentaire ne me donne pas de la joie mais de la tristesse. Le petit déjeuner-brunch que je propose est un véritable repas servi de 08h30 jusqu'à 11h00. Compte tenu de l'abondance et de la qualité des produits, le prix de 17 euros est très concurrentiel. Le mas des figues n'est pas un hôtel mais une maison d'hôtes ainsi il y a une table d'hôtes convivial. Mais toute critique même injuste me fait progresser. Aussi à partir d'aujourd'hui un plateau de courtoisie sera mis à disposition des clients au salon. Ainsi ils pourront avoir un café gratuitement.

Philippe et Anne-Marie, les Hotes du Mas des Figues etaient tres chaleureux et prevenants. Le jardin de roses etait superbe et les talents (Artistiques et culinaires de Philippe) vraiment apprecies. Je recommande cette maison a tous les amateurs de bien vivre et qui apprecient la douceur de vivre a la Francaise.

Très agréable séjour
Chambre d'hôte située à 2 minutes en voiture de St Rémy de Provence.Belle propriété arborée dont une oliveraie et une très jolie roseraie . Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire des lieux , véritable substitut de l'office du tourisme ,qui nous a fait partager son attachement à la Provence et nous a donné moultes conseils dur les endroits à visiter . Petit déjeuner exceptionnel à la Provençale ,fait maison avec les produits du jardin .Belle piscine

Magnifique écrin au pied des Alpilles
Incroyable endroit au pied des alpilles. Idéal pour se reposer au calme au bord de la piscine en profitant de l'odeur envoûtante des quelques 4000 rosiers de la propriété. Le petit déjeuner est composé de produits frais, la plupart du jardin: un plus à la saison des fraises et des cerises ! Que du bonheur !

super endroit de détente
trés beaux mas au milieu de fleurs et légumes en tout genres philippe le maitre des lieus vous accueille avec sourires et sympathie la chambre était propre avec une intimé apprécie la piscine est super propre grande avec de petits box tout autour pour sentir encore une intimité apprécier le petit déjeuner est gargantuesque pour un 1er prix a 12 euros avec des produits du jardin je recommande

Chambres d'hôtes perdus dans l'arrière pays provençal... Les seuls bruits seront ceux des oiseaux! Joli jardin, agréable.. Piscine avec transat confortable. Petit canal juste derrière le Mas, parfait pour des petites ballades et quelques chemins de randonnées au départ du site. Un parfait lieu pour se couper de la vie quotidienne! Chambre confortable avec de jolis meubles. La douche est très petite. Petit déjeuner copieux avec confiture maison!
