Was staying in this place since it was the closest hotel to a 10K race I was doing in Jamestown SC. Apparently this is a hotel that a lot of hunters stay at which might account for the weird smell in the hallway when we checked in. It didn't smell in the rooms and the smell was gone the next morning so that the only thing I could contribute the smell to. Also, other than a Subway, you'll have to travel about 15 miles if you want to eat out. There are smoking and nonsmoking rooms on the same floor but I didn't smell any smoke so that didn't seem to be a problem. Overall is was ok but nothing really stood out as above average.

Clean, quiet, reasonablePosted May 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
Have stayed here many times. It is a quiet hotel & is very clean. Only downside is that the pool is tiny!

NicePosted Apr 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
A fairly new hotel, and in great condition. Rooms are equipped with Microwave and Fridge. Roomy, and clean. The staff was friendly & helpful. The town itself, however, is sad and run down!

The hotel was fairly new. The rooms were clean, and equipped with fridge & microwave. The continental breakfast left much to be desired. There was nowhere in town to eat, really, aside from a Subway. The staff was friendly & helpful.

Don't Get Up For Breakfast...Posted Jul 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Rooms were regular size and had the sink separate from shower/toilet room. Bed was okay if you like firm. Downside is that it was no frills, no hairdryer, liquid soap or exercise room. Still sports a CRT T.V. and noisy air unit. The free (6-9) continental breakfast was not worth getting up for! The "hot water" dispenser may have started without the disingenuous notion of portraying it's tepid, lukewarm contents, but by the time we used it for our oatmeal, we had to either microwave our styrofoam bowl (bad!) or eat it cold. There were also bite sized blueberry muffins but the crowning touch was that perennial favorite100% synthetic orange juice...Tang!
