This was our second trip to st John and The Gallows. What can I say about it? Incredible!!! I love staying at the Gallows. Our view was over the ocean to st Thomas, in the daytime we had the breathtaking view of the water and the islands and at night it was the twinkling lights of st Thomas. We stayed in 5B which was a lower unit on the ocean side. The ocean was right outside our back door and snorkeling was steps away. The lower units are smaller than the spacious loft units upstairs, but the reduced cost was worth it. There were peacocks actually roaming around! The only negative thing about our trip was that in September so many restaurants and facilities are closed as that is the off season, but that makes it so much easier to meet the locals. Anna Thompson worked the front desk at the gallows and was so helpful, be sure to look her up if you have any questions.

The staff was welcoming the resort gorgeous. We loved that it was located on a animal/nature preserve and really enjoyed the wildlife roaming around (wild donkeys, deer, iguanas & mongoose). This hotel was very expensive but everything was perfect the staff, restaurants (only two open at end of season) and room. The only minor complaint I had was that the bed was too soft I think ready to be replaced. The seven beaches were oustanding and we cam back totally relaxed and refreshed.

Beautiful resort on the beach. One bedroom condo with appliances and granite countertops. Close to restaurant and nice, small outdoor bar. Service available on beach. Dive shop on site. Very quiet part to St. Thomas. Staff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back and are currently looking into buying a condo there. Very quiet cove that is a marine sanctuary.

First trip to USVI but not the first to a Beach Club / Resort type hotel. There were three of us. It was one adult and two kids ages 8 and 10. On first arrival the Resort is less than impressive. Looks somewhat dated and old on the outside. The rooms were not spectacular on the inside either but they were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The difference at Bolongo Bay was the service. These guys are truly amazing. Absolutely everyone at the resort was amazingly accommodating. From the time of check in to the time of departure. From the Front Desk clerk to the baggage guys, to the maid staff, to the wait staff, to the guys on the beach handing out beach gear. All of these folks make for an experience that is better than the rest. I would gladly exchange a modern look for the level of service we received. Our 8 day stay at Bolongo was amazing thanks to the staff. I just can not say enough about these guys other than we will definitely see you again.

"Great fully-furnished condo w/ a beautiful view!"
Staff was very accomodating, both on arrival and throughout our stay. We arrived the day a tropical storm passed through, and throughout the week we experienced intermittent power outages. The hotel did everything in its capability to minimize disruption and make our stay pleasant.

Such a beautiful place. I stayed at the resort with my two children. They never like going places and safe to say the loved it here. The staff so friendly and helpful. The food was great, I saved money using the all-inclusive plan. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, I can't wait to visit again.

The hotel was fine, but the actual room was not at anchorage beach but at Sapphire. Antilles did not leave instructions on where to pick up the key for the condo which led to great confusion and an expensive taxi ride searching for their office. Otherwise the room met our needs and the beach was nice also.
