very nice food and bev erage. Hotel personnel were trained and friendly. upon arrival, the hotel had no notice of my reservation from Expedia, made the previous day. I extended the stay the day before original checkout and again, the hotel had no notice of my new reservation.

“Not so great”

Hotel room was old but clean. Maid service only 1 day for a 4 night stay. Check in was delayed because "check in " agent was not available. We had 4 couples and 3 of us did not get the room we were suppose to. Water in shower went from freezing cold to scaulding without even a touch of hot water. However, highly recommend the Cabana Bar and the service in the restaurants and pool side. JP is the best!

“Another great trip”

This was my 3rd stay at Bluebeard'. Our room was great. Booked a one bedroom instead of a studio. Our room was great with the extra bedroom and we stayed near the entrance at the top of the resort. There was construction going on but it was during the day when we were not in the room so it did not affect us at all. Spent a good deal of time during the day at the pool bar with Michelle, Jason and Mario - great menu, prices and Rum Punch.......Great daily happy hour at Room with a View also. Overall, the 2 of us had a great time and really did not want to leave. We will DEFINITELY be back.

“Simple price, simple hotel. Not bad at all”

The hotel did what it needed to do. It was clean, local to everything. Food at the hotel is pretty good too. If it had all inclusive and some other options, it would be fantastic, but other than that, it was fine for the price. They were definitely helpful in finding the tourist attraction

“NEVER EVER STAY AT THIS PLACE!!!”

I am going to try to keep an open mind as I write this review. First of all the hotel is currently under re-construction (I researched it myself before I booked our stay there). Second of all I had no idea that we would not recieve room cleaning everday. We arrived on Saturday, our room was cleaned on Wednesday, we went home on Thursday. We called to get new linen and fresh towels everyday until finaly we just gave up. The employees had friends over at the pool and that was fine. The problem was, their friends brought their children and one did not have a swim suit, so the mom just puts the NAKED 2 year old in the pool! Yes, the baby did not have a stitch of clothing on! People complained to staff but nothing was done. Blubeard's Castle has stated that they are trying to change their previous negative image with fancy upgrades and better customer service. Perhaps they need to change their goundkeeping staff and housecleaning policy as well!! The best thing about this resort is that it is very close to downtown and it has a great view of the marina!! Don't waste your money nor your time by staying at this resort!

“Quick Trip”

This hotel met my needs for a short business trip to the islands. The view was the harbour. This was the best part of trip.

“Moving to St Thomas”

Our Mom booked this hotel for us because she was confident it would be clean and a great place for us to stay while we vacationed. She was right!!! The hotel was great. The walk up is rather steep but not unmanagable. Wonderful place to stay while on vacation.

Our room was not available when we arrived and we were down graded to a room with no kitchen and not given any credit for the difference in the rooms cost. Supposedly we could not be credited because it was booked with our airfare. The staff was no help at all on this. We asked for more coffee for our room so we could make more coffee in the morning and were told they only give coffee on the day of your arrival. The front desk was completely useless in helping us. However, if you found a cleaning person and got on your knees and prayed to them they would reluctantly give you some coffee. If you want your room cleaned more than once a week you better go somewhere else. Even if you have blisters on your knees from praying for coffee it will not get your room cleaned again.
