No close to the beach.

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: The location, the view of the bay
Cons: No disability friendly. My husband walks with a cane and was challenged even with the "elevator"
Location: Took the tour of St Thomas with "K9 Joe" wonderful experience
Unfortunately the store was closed, and a few eating places, which limited your choices for dining. Enjoyed breakfast by the pool daily. Would have welcomed a choice

Great views

Posted Oct 5, 2014
Our room had a great view over Charlotte Amalie, capital town of St Thomas. It was very spacious and had good air con. Didn't mind the roosters in the morning nor the steep road up to it. Over all our stay in the USVI was wonderful.

Not walking distance to beach.

Hotel is on a very steep hill too hard to walk down. Have to take a taxi to get off the grounds. Elevators not easily accessible.

A Stop Over

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Spacious, Clean, Affordable
Cons: staff to be able to speak up
Location: shopping, shopping, shopping, flea market,
The view is great but it's not near the awesome blue waters. We had a stop over to go in the am on ferry to Tortoga where we were to rent the yacht we took out for 10 days. The price for three adults were good. The hotel had a lounge but it was closed for remodeling. We did eat dinner also on property and that was extremely good. They gave us a 1 bedroom suite where the third person slept on couch in living room Room was clean and well stocked with paper goods & soaps.

Very dated, but a good value

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Restaurants; $5 breakfast probably the best deal on the island.
Cons: Outside facilities, fitness center.
Location: Close to downtown shopping.
We paid $1--via Expedia after getting stranded by Storm Bertha. The hotel has seen better days, but has some good facilities such as restaurants and pool. The pool is very deep, 4 ft at the shallowest point so I don't know how little kids could safely swim there. Lots of hills and steps, not appropriate for anyone infirmed. No beach available. Good access to downtown. Mixed staff, some friendly, some not so much. It's a timeshare facility, so no daily cleaning of the room. It wouldn't be my first choice, but since I was stranded it was ok.

Pros: Loved the proximity to town and the views were amazing.
Cons: The rooms were a little dated in terms of furniture and fixtures but overall a nice property.
Location: Close to shopping, restaurants and beach.
My husband and I were pleasantly surprised. Nice property.... great views and great food!

Would probably never stay there again

The place was far away from everything. Had to take a taxi to get everywhere which was expensive. No complimentary hotel shuttle. When I realized the room I had was too much and wanted to downgrade my request was refused due to hotel rules. It was too expensive for what I needed and they should have let me change the booking...

what a weekend

Great place overlooking downtown. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Fantastic view out our bedroom window. Only negative - the pool bar area is the only place open for breakfast and the cook and food were missing Sat morning so we went elsewhere. Otherwise great!

Needs renovation badly

Very outdated. Pool looks like parking garage.
